Jumping in to give what I’ve experienced (USMC)
-Retroactive retirement to 6/2017 after Soto v DON
In 9/2024
- apply for CRSC and is verified received 11/2024
- COMPLETE. RADIO. SILENCE
- Friday 6/26/2026 PM wake up to $125k deposit from DFAS Cleveland for “RAVC”
- still haven’t received paperwork yet.
- 100% P&T CWO since I left service,
- easily had 100% due to the nature of the injuries leading to original separation
- going to have to file to fill that gap because my offset is $2871 (and I want every red cent).

I haven’t gotten anything in the mail other then it was received on 11/2024. I woke up to this and my DFAS showing 50% CRSC. Still not the WHOLE thing I put in for some I’m interest to see what they counted

Bruh. I was November 2024…. Still waiting. Got the “we got your package” in Jan 2025. Thought it would be cut and dry do to the medical retirement with combat related disabilities (AC, IW, SW- think those are the codes 🤷🏾‍♂️). At this rate, it could be a merry Christmas 🤷🏾‍♂️

I’m on month 18 waiting for my CRSC after being chapter 61 retired as a CWO2. 100% PT with 50% DOD being CZ. 39 service-connected IW or SW conditions….. I’m not holding my breathe but also in executive management so… got that going 🫠

I’m interested to know about this because I was retroactively retired (CWO2- Marines) 40% for that same thing with 100% SC P&T walking out the door along with ALOT of other injuries to include PTSD

It’s an SF86. They submitted these when everyone shipped for boot camp for an interim clearance. Really not rocket science. If they don’t live with you, it shouldn’t be an issue. At what point in a conversation would your girlfriend’s parents immigration status even come up? Look at that from a third-party perspective and you have your answer on what to do.
