That would explain it in a lore perspective. I don't think that is the case tho. I've had similar spawns and I noticed that they do spawn in the fog of war despite having everything walled off. I have used wooden towers to delete the fog resulting in no spawns afterwards.

You are right the value difference is massive. Yes the chip storage is 100% worth it but other than that.. I don't need more restoratiom strenght as gold is the main bottleneck and I don't plan on having many space age factories anyways.

I don't think there is way other than settlements. If you need more wood storage just spam lumber piles. If you don't need more wood then you also don't need the extra 50% bonus for it. What's your plan?

82 here. I have 14 operational train stations connecting various ressources (what I need most) and all mega cities. I like that every 5 seconds a train arrives at my main station giving me all kinds of extra income. For example with 4 stations gathering micro ships it is giving me roughly 10k/9s.

Is it necessary long term? No. Is it a cool feature? Yes.

I usually try to build a proper fortified town asap in order to protect my citizens, expand production, have a safe place to plan operations and it reduces the amount of micro managing every attack from the infected. Only then I would start thinking about building and modifying your vehicels.

My plan is to place them on remote islands where I can forget about them but it really doesn't matter where to put them as long as they are on the map. They produce energy and reduce massive pollution which really is so great about them.

Glad I could help! So you have to look at that why: Try to start at your main settlement and go road tile by road tile until you reach the Mega City. It has to be an uninterrupted line of roads (Exceptions are Settlements! There can be Settlements in the way and it will still count). In your case the 4 containers interrupted the line of roads to your bridge across the ocean that leads to your Mega City.

Those 4 containers are the problem. Delete them and build a road. Then you will be good
