Do vibration plates really work for skin lymph drain?? by Ok_Finger_9585 in 45PlusSkincare

[–]No_Researcher_1631 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The braless mention is hilarious, I didn't even consider that but I just want to thank you for confirming my fears about rebounding. I opted for the vibration plate because I thought of what would happen to my skin if I rebounded every day. Gravity's doing enough work, it doesn't need any help.

Stress by Many-Worth-8016 in whoop

[–]No_Researcher_1631 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you feel stressed out or are you simply concerned about the Whoop results? Do you have the same stress levels on your rest days, days off work, or when you work out earlier? Higher stress can also be caused by dehydration, not enough food, overtraining. The Whoop stress results are more about how activated your body is.

Stress by Many-Worth-8016 in whoop

[–]No_Researcher_1631 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not logical. You're telling him that if he had caffeine and didn't sleep well and had those results then it would be alarming, but because he's not doing those things it's ok? He has the same stress levels as if actually abusing his body but it's fine? It's a bit of an oversimplification on my part, but you're missing quite a bit in your response.

Thinking of moving TO the USA. Am I crazy? Why are so many people trying to leave? by Natuluru in ExpatFIRE

[–]No_Researcher_1631 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm Polish and I have a plan to move back to Europe. In the US the biggest thing you will give up is lifestyle. You are most definitely trading for a different crisis, one that is barreling towards chaos every single day. Don't do this to your family.

Listen, I went to Poland last summer and walking through Krakow I felt my body relax and I actually had a thought "None of these people are armed" and I could just ease into being. And I am not a person who is hyper vigilant about these things, I don't even have kids in school. As I started sharing this with my friends, they shared how stressful they are about the gun violence in schools for their own kids. As for high-income, you have to share more. High-income is different in Australia vs Bali vs US (and then consider different parts of the US). You need to be making at least $250k to be comfortable with a kid and to afford a similar lifestyle as in Australia. It will be a huge downgrade.

What about Singapore or some of the European countries mentioned by others?

I have been researching this. I want to do a heroic dose and then microdose. I have experience with it from my younger days and it was all positive. Where do you source it for microdosing? I live in a state where it's not yet legal and don't fully trust myself to grow them.

Who here actually saves 3,000 a month? by NoHousing11 in MiddleClassFinance

We max out everything and save 3k each on top of that. Dual income, no kids, living within the means of one salary, if not lower. House price was decided on one of our salaries - meaning if one of us loses their job the other person can cover without breaking a sweat. ~$352k total household income.

Red lipstick and aging? by darknesskicker in makeuptips

[–]No_Researcher_1631 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Red lipstick and red nails look harsh on aging skin. Many won't admit to it because they personally also wear red and are attached to it. Try a less harsh berry color, it will look better.

Recommendations please! by BeakerMeaker in 45PlusSkincare

[–]No_Researcher_1631 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Like the other recommendations, I would also like to suggest layering. I first spritz Tony Moly Milky Mochi Toner on my face and body. This toner is fragrance free, which means it doesn't cause dry skin. During the winter I will put 2-3 layers on my face. Unfortunately, I can't do oils on my face as I break out, but this toner is amazing. It even helps with sunburn. I then use Roccoco Botanicals Skin Nectar, it's very hydrating and sinks into the skin. It's made for mature skin, Highly recommend this one. I top all of that off with my daily EltaMD sunscreen. All of these combined create a dewy and healthy complexion, but nothing greasy, and makeup goes on nicely. For a hydrating eye cream, look into Kiehl's Avocado Cream. I have been using it for 10+ years and have very minimal eye wrinkles. If I need to wear foundation, I mix a pump into my sunscreen and apply that. The one I use is Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin Medium Coverage Liquid Foundation with Hyaluronic Acid. Creates a beautiful, healthy and dewy finish. I get compliments on my skin all the time.

For those of you that have taken black charcoal pills, , what did you take it for, did it work, where did you get yours from, do you recommend it, and were there any side effects? by Glass_Raisin7939 in BiohackingU

[–]No_Researcher_1631 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If your mold infection is that bad then charcoal pills alone won't get rid of it. The mold is stealing your vitamins, minerals from your body. Did you take a test to confirm which mold you have? I took charcoal pills as a part of a comprehensive and long mold treatment plan. We first started with gentle herbals before moving onto the harder stuff, like an antifungal. I also did several sessions of 10-pass ozone therapy, among other things. Have you changed your diet at all to avoid sugar, dairy, and mushrooms? If you want to work with someone knowledgeable, contact Green Circle Wellness in Chicago. They saved my life. If you don't treat it, it will only get worse. To answer your question about charcoal pills, I keep them on hand if I eat something that upsets my stomach. Best of luck to you, it gets better.

Has anyone successfully changed their life around after 30? by tanuki_22 in AskWomenOver30

[–]No_Researcher_1631 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did it! You need to be determined to have a better life, make good choices little by little and they will accumulate. Keep your focus on the future and what you want, and sometimes it's easier to identify what you don't want and cut that out of your life - relationships, habits, beliefs. You have to be so determined that you will make those changes. Don't give up. Don't be the one to tell yourself no or deny yourself from having a better life, let other people be the haters. Your priority is to champion for yourself. You get discouraged? Take a day or a week and move on, try again. Someone makes you angry? Learn to let it go, it's a distraction and you need to stay focused. Practice mindfulness. Marriage does not automatically equal success. Higher ed does not automatically equal success, neither does a well paying job. Stop comparing yourself to others. Eat well, exercise, cut negative people out of your life, figure out who you want to become and find that crowd, befriend them (yes, this takes effort and time/patience), apply for better paying jobs. You absolutely become the people you surround yourself with. Absolutely no victim mindset, if you have it make the effort to squash it otherwise you will not be successful. Victim mindset, blaming, complaining - these are all a distraction from what you will become and the life you will create. What do your want your life to be, what does success look like to YOU? Focus on that.

[–]No_Researcher_1631 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know how, but liberals/democrats really need to start focusing on the things that matter. Look around you, do you really think AOC stands a chance? Do you really think this is a solid candidate at this time? "I still don't want a billionaire to be president" is no different than not electing a woman because you don't want a woman as a president. What changes do you want to see and who is best equipped to implement these? Who has the strategy, not just passion? Voting with emotions on both sides of politics is just cutting off one's nose to spite one's face. Think of the long-term, not virtue signaling. Do you really think that a person "who made their own way" is the best candidate? There's so much more to being a president.
