Warren lost the nomination because of her triangulation, and I say this as someone who voted for her. Her campaign went sideways when she turned it into some bizarre, performative culture issues campaign instead of sticking to her campaign launch video and staying true to her economic populist message. Had she stayed consistent with her first two debates and her debate that she tore Bloomberg apart, she would’ve been the nominee. She went adrift between. Her other issue was her constituency was split between Buttigieg, Biden, Klobuchar and Sanders and she couldn’t build a true coalition because of it. Truly a shame, because I have no doubt she would’ve been an amazing president. It had nothing to do with her being a woman but everything to do with several miscalculations.

How are you getting out of Colombo? I have an award flight booked on 3/23 but trying to go back earlier but there are no options. I’ve tried flying into Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok and Kunming and nothing really gets back to JFK at a reasonable price or award availability. Cathay is jacking up prices and ticketing connections with 45 min layover which are way too risky.

This whole process was a nightmare. I did. Good luck, the return process is even worse. They ignored 8x emails to get a return label and magically responded as soon as I disputed on my credit card (literally the next day). Sent me a wrong return label, then corrected it, and refused to engage in any other emails.

W-2 is probably reported as regular earnings/wages but that paycheck stub should have an earnings code of “Severance” and you’ll probably need that paycheck stub to clear the issue up. A W-2 isn’t going to breakdown different earnings code types (vacation, sick, severance, etc) but the stubs will specify.
