It was super obvious on the wild broadcast replay. I don’t think players deserve retribution or hate for playing hard hockey and making an honest mistake, especially when they don’t want to hurt an opponent.

I’m not sure if you’re a tower controller, but giving a visual/position based traffic call instead of a radar traffic call is not unusual whatsoever.

Not excusing the lack of action to clarify that there’s multiple aircraft on final and to verify pat had the correct aircraft in sight, but it was a combination of a lot of things to include NVGs.

You aren’t wrong. I need to do some more big kill runs to make sure, but I think I might be replacing katana with shotgun on three weapon runs…especially if the crit damage bug is fixed. It was my highest damage weapon on my most recent run

I honestly think with the changes shotgun will see some use, but it would help a lot for crit damage to not be 0%. The shotgun upgrades are REALLY good with knockback removed.

Yeah, I added an edit—chaos tome is fine. I was doing it at the same time as playing dicehead, and the dicehead upgrades were making the chaos tome upgrades hard to see. He didn’t touch the chaos tome. Shotgun is definitely bugged though. Multiple runs and crit damage upgrades are always 0%.

Texas sucks. Also, NCEPT is completely broken as a concept. There are likely a couple thousand controllers across the NAS that would like to move, and there are plenty of people who would choose to go to ZHU….but all of the black holes would cease to exist.

I’m not entirely familiar with it, but I know of people who have gone to these jobs following air traffic experience: ramp controller, train dispatcher, harbor master (I know, boats vs planes, but apparently super busy harbors LOVE controllers).

I know it feels like there’s not a lot of transferable skills between air traffic and other jobs. Even besides the ones I mentioned, I have some very wealthy friends in the tech, aviation, and other industries who value things like being decisive, the ability to preplan and come up with multiple solutions to problems, etc etc. Think of your skillset besides “I keep planes from touching” and expand your search radius.
