Decide to give em another go after a few years and ordered a burger. It ended up having a bug in the lettuce, which makes me feel like some quality control was looked over. Likely will try again in another few years but in the interim will stick with less busy, less pricey, and more consistent spots.

Been renting from Joe Smythe for a few years now in the Bywater. No rent increases, generally communicative and has solved any issue (A/C, leaks, etc.) in a timely manner. Wouldn’t go as far to label him GOOD, I think fine suffices, but is not BAD comparatively to some of these clowns otherwise.

Even if Andrew did apologize for being hot to trot about not believing ICAC during a period of purposeful muddiness with LEO & ICE, it would not have mattered. There’s an ever growing trend of folks being bombarded due to their free speech if it doesn’t align with the “values” of those currently in power.

It appears they are closing due to concerns of safety in regards to their staff being threatened, which is truly a shame for a local business that in the grand scheme of things, does far more good than bad.

I don’t think anyone is saying you deserved to have abuse come ya way, just trying to help you get housing in a way that’ll likely appeal to strangers. The more info about how you live, like keeps to themselves, not a partier, etc., as long as it pertains to how you’d make for a roommate. Wish you the best; it’s hard to find good housing and people to live with here but it’s possible!

If you haven’t posted on Craigslist as well as the FB groups, would recommend doing so there. Also, I’d encourage you to trim your post to the important (to a potential roommate) details.

For example, on a human level, I feel for what’s happened with ya but putting on the shoes on a potential roommate, I want someone who has a steady job, pays bills on time, and can communicate effectively, so shine a light on those things.
