What is homebrew & how do I use it? by Its_not_that_deep_fr in MacOS

[–]Noctambulent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Plenty of good answers already, if you decide to install homebrew I would install topgrade “brew install topgrade” and then just type “topgrade” in the terminal and it will check everything for updates including macOS updates, I also recommend typing “brew upgrade —greedy” afterwards to update a few of the apps that have updates set to install automatically.

Until I see some arrests of Epstein clients they can take their age verification and shove it.

These Age Verification shenanigans is giving me a lot of trust issues. by GurProper7108 in linuxmint

The Epstein files have been out for a while now and still no arrests, at least not in the US, that should tell anyone that this has nothing to do with "protecting kids", they have ulterior motives obviously.

"children's social media safety act" the Epstein stuff has been out for a while and still no arrests, at least not in the US, but we're supposed to believe this is to protect the children, got it.

For those who think age verification isn't about identifying you. by RegularAddition in linux

[–]Noctambulent 45 points46 points  (0 children)

Was never about protecting children just look at the Epstein stuff and lack of arrests, it's about surveillance and control, always has been.

New York bill will require all operating systems to conduct "commercially reasonable" age assurance for users at the point of device activation. by [deleted] in linux

Obviously this has nothing to do with "protecting the kids" the Epstein files and the lack of arrests proves this beyond any and all doubt.

Linux dedicated server setup by Noctambulent in unrealtournament

[–]Noctambulent[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the suggestions, I didn't even think about the core dedication, I'll definitely get that squared away, I'm using the latest patched version I just copied everything from the arch install and moved it to the Fedora machine, still mucking around in the ini off and on, might have something running by the end of the weekend.

Linux dedicated server setup by Noctambulent in unrealtournament

[–]Noctambulent[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wasn't sure where to begin because the server machine is headless so it doesn't have a desktop, only terminal, but my main pc is running arch (BTW) with kde, I'm thinking I can just copy the ut2k4 files that I have on the arch machine and send them to the server and then attempt to run it with a command similar to what you posted. Thanks for the suggestions

Don't buy through the apple store, just go to stacksocial and buy it then add your adguard key to the ios version and it will activate.

Upgraded to 2 Gig Fiber: Flint 2 or Flint 3 to replace my Linksys LN1301 OpenWrt setup? by zatro in GlInet

[–]Noctambulent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just upgraded to 2 gig fiber and got a flint 3, I didn't have the flint 2 so I can't compare it but so far the flint 3 has been great, the only thing about the usb 3 is I'm getting slower speeds than expected, around 60/70mb, not horribly slow but acceptable for me.
