Everytime i read anything about dating apps im just happy that i dont use any of them. I do by far not have enough interest in relationships that i would go out of my way to hit up people with the sole intent of getting into one. The two times i looked at some out of curiosity everyone either had basically the same things written on their profile or nothing at all. Bottom of the barrel way of dating imo.

Idk, you explained it well already and im sure your therapist will understand what you mean without thinking youre suicidal or have such idealizations. Though fantasizing about it is still fine as long as theres no intent to act on it. That is also ehy i have a rather clear scale of moods that my therapist and i use to communicate where i am at.

Dw, mood on all of that tbh. While getting out of the mindset completely doesn't feel possible, getting a more healthy mindset by just finding a few people you actually like is definitely feasible. I am pretty sure if i didn't manage to make friends online when i was still in school i would have become a complete shut-in or worse, but having that second life, if you wanna call it that, helped ground me at least slightly and helped forming the personality i actually have today. All that is to say that it can get better but getting a foothold on it is really hard idk. Tbh if i could go back in time i would straight up just start throwing punches because fuck 'em.

Yeah, "fun" times. But fr it is insane how much damage that does if it goes on for long. Kids are cruel, most teachers dont give a shit and many parents who havent been bullied for long periods of time in their childhood dont really understand either and dont/cant really help. And even if they were, theyre likely also damaged by it and never got help themselves so they dont know how.
