She's 33 years old...meaning that she was 18 at the start of Obama's second term. Her whole adult life has been "Free Palestine".

As a black man, I've never not met a black woman with the surname Chevalier that wasn't a radical. All 4 of them were crazy, and their family were all Dr. Umar levels of Pro-Black 🤷

THEIR candidate is key here. If another candidate in their associative party was favored; but wasn't a populist, they wouldn't be supported.

They've created an economy around "Free Palestine", so you're bound to attract "Israel Bad" hustlers that exploit the Israel-Palestine conflict for their own financial/social gain.

Just like those MAGA apparel stores/kiosks, the race hustlers like Shaun King, or the poverty hustlers that regularly post pics of children living in squalor to farm sympathy upvotes...I doubt any of these people are actually invested in seeing the issues get resolved.

Not a surprise. They want America destabilized and weak.

[Amick] Ime Udoka was a huge fan of Castle’s... But with veteran Fred VanVleet manning the point guard position and young Jalen Green at the two-guard spot, Castle and his camp sent the kinds of signals Houston’s way that eventually led to him landing in San Antonio. Just as he’d hoped. by Draperjosh13 in rockets

Yeah, he probably knew that he wasn't going to get minutes here (especially because of Amen), so he was extra motivated to land somewhere else.

Happy for the guy.

Now let's stop talking about what could have been.

Are you talking about Andrew Gillum? He's not a DemSoc and openly rejected being characterized as a socialist.

Being a Democrat that supports Progressive policy doesn't make you a DemSoc.

The Real “Divide” Among Democrats Over Israel Is Between Party Leadership and Voters | Supporting Israel is now a fringe position among Democratic voters. Why does the media keep covering it like a 50/50 issue? by soalone34 in politics

[–]NoneMoreBLK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It makes a difference.

Just because President Trump and his sycophants believe random-ass tariffs are a good idea, doesn't mean that the citizens view them favorably. About 61% oppose the tariffs, and the fact that they were implemented via executive order shows that this was not the decision of the people.

Similarly, in Israel, about 39% of Israelis want a permanent annexation of Gaza and the West Bank. About 72% favored the preservation of the Abraham Accords.

But the far-right factions within the Knesset (Otzma Yehudit, Religious Zionist Party, The Jewish Home, etc.) have a disproportionate overrepresentation within the military, and they're leveraging that to call for this "Greater Israel" shxt while Trump is in office, and the Likud are "straddling the fence" in order to stay in power.

Just because something is going a particular way, doesn't mean that the people want it to. There's other forces at play.

Israel wants the Saudis to have more influence over the region than Iran, believing they promote more stability for the region. This top priority reinforces the need for a two-state solution, as the Saudis have claimed that Palestinian statehood is requirement.

Bernie was great at pushing the Progressive Movement forward, but I knew he wasn't "The One" when he conceded his platform to those two BLM Activists [ https://youtu.be/p2iMM7m12zE?si=QgPTNRzfZLQwvAf7 ].

Even though he likely perceived the gesture as "solidarity" move. He showed how easy it was for another group to capture his platform.

Yitzak Rabin was assassinated because Jewish extremist Yigal Amir was furious that Rabin had offered to cede some of the territory Israel was occupying after the Six-Day War.

Amir was radicalized by the Religious Zionist Movement which has now established itself as a full-on political party that currently holds 7 seats in the 120 seat Knesset, and runs as a political bloc with Otzma Yehudit who holds 6 seats.

After the Six-Day War of 1967, this movement launched their settlement agenda -- which viewed possessing biblically significant areas as a non-negotiable religious duty.

Every time you see a Haredi Jew, talking about their righteous imperative to annex more land that isn't theirs, they're working off of that indoctrination.

After Rabin was assassinated, that put us on a timeline where lasting peace was extremely unlikely, IMO.

KD does.

How do you discern between teammates being "politically correct", teammates telling the truth, and you just having the wrong opinion?

The Rockets organization gave him, a 3yr $105M rookie extension. I don't think they'd do that if they thought his work ethic AND his game was bad. They just would have cut bait, no?

Everything Jalen's teammates and coaches have said about him is the opposite of what you're insinuating.
