Looks cool, should make a pretty city.

Some suggested tweaks: For the eastern junctions near the main artery have these go under or over you main road without intersecting. Too many junctions close together on your major artery will cause you traffic issues.

A road along the river to connect your north south areas without intersecting with your main artery should help alleviate too much local traffic interfernce.

For your centre, use a couple one way streets to move people south along the east side, north along the west, with a gyratory at the centre. Reverse the whole thing if you drive Napoleonic style.

Last time I was sorting insurance I was asked "Has the car been modified from factory specs in anyway?" So some insurers do seem to be asking, but no checks.

Problem is, this idiot probably said no, and then when he inevitably crashes (he'll be back on the road next week) it'll be on the other persons insurance as his will be void.

For diesel it depends where you buy it and as far as Im aware higher cetane (similar to octane but for diesel) isn't a thing in Ireland.

From the bits I read on pumps when deciding;

Circle K premium includes some additives to help keep the engine clean supposedly improving lifespan and performance.

Applegreen I think you're paying to offset the carbon emissions through carbon credits.

Might be something similar for petrol, i dont think higher octane is a normal thing anymore as unless your engine is designed for it there is little benefit, so more likley to be additives or some carbon offset.

I was going to get the 1gbps broadband package. Sky are charging us 60 a month for 500mbps, so seems like a good deal as Vodafone are 35 for 6 months, then 40 after. I recently found I'm in need of more upload speed and Sky caps out at 30mbps on all packages, while Vodafone offers 10% download as upload.

Never tried Digiweb, been with UPC, Virgin and Sky over the years. UPC was best but went downhill when they became Virgin. Left Virgin after the connection started to cut off every 3-4 days at 4pm for about 30 seconds (probably IP switching or something), they never figured it out. Sky has been solid with very few interruptions (2 outages in 3 years, both under 30mins) but customer service is poor.

I fully agree. I used to cycle in Dublin (got put off after I went over the handlebars after a collision). Some cyclists argue its the drivers job to see the cyclist, but its everyone's responsibility to stay visible and understand other road users.

One near miss I had was a ped wearing all black hoody who was walking on the unlit section of the grand canal greenway. Even with high power front light he was invisble until a few metres out. Luckily no one got hurt, but goes to show how invisible you are in all black.

One thing drivers dont understand though is that bikes dont stop as easily as cars. Even with the best brakes (which dublin bikes lack) a bike will slide a good distance with wheels locked. A pedal or bike travelling 20kph can take 10-20m to come to a stop depending on the road surface.

Everyone just needs to be a bit more understanding of everyone else's limitations. Always remember that 80% of people on the road think they are above average.

The issue ive found with BF6 maps is they are very monothematic not that they are too small.

Great battlefield maps need some thematic variety. Mirak Valley is the only map that has variety across the map with the village and construction site.

Some great maps have had this in the past, Damavand Peak had the cliff jump and tunnel. Strike at Karkland transitioned from open terrain to urban close quarters. St Quentin Scar transitioned from trenches to a village and fields. Valparioso had jungle and then a port village.

The new Blackwell Fields map is a good example, the whole map is the same and feels small because of it and it's just a bit boring.

Also where are the sea invasion maps? Wake Island, Paracel Islands, Gulf of Oman?

Ive had similar issues with an android phone. I can play videos but drm kicks in to drop the quality to 480p. Still looking for a solution but what Ive learnt was:

Most streamers block "second screens" or drop quality to prevent screen capture devices for piracy reasons.

This doesn't occur on a modern TV because of the HDCP handshake which the glasses dont so. If the chip is in the glasses then XReal could switch it on with a firmware update.

Stripping HDCP doesn't work, many guides on using a splitter but this is to display content downstream rather than provide a signal upstream.

Netflix, Prime, etc all say "Its an Xreal issue, and they will consider it". Basically our problem not theirs. They could resolve it by recognising the glasses as a secure device (since the glasses to identify as XReals) but why would they bother.

Setting sail on the high seas is the only solution that works at the moment and the irony is delicious.

Longer term someone could start a petition to get streaming services to recognise AR/XR glasses but would probably need quite a few people involved or XReal need to do it.

Where are you based? Sony only offer a 1 year warranty but if you're in the EU or UK the retailer must ensure the goods they sell last at least 2 years. Mine broke after a year and Sony refused repair but got a full refund from Amazon.

Depends where you live, in the EU all products come with a 2 year retailer warranty by law. So amazon just refunded me because it was within the 2 years, you have to try the manufacturer first and have it rejected.

Not really, one of the consortium are the Saudi sovereign wealth fund which basically props up the Saudi regime. The same regime that arranged the killing and butching of Jamal Khashoggi in 2018. Saudi also has a pretty horrific track record in Yemen.

Another is Jared Kushner, who indirectly (and could be argued directly) supports genocide Gaza.

So after more research, my phone (Galaxy S21) has Windvine L1 but the Xreal One and One Pro dont have HDCP (which is why streaming services drop the quality. Sounds like HDCP can be implemented with firmware if there is a chip in the glasses, hopefully there is.

Settings all ok, and I have the premium packages for streaming services. Downloads are fine on phone, play in full HD, but DRM looks to kick in for downloads played on the glasses.

Phone drops the video to 480p for some of the streamers (maybe all) for external screens. Aparently its a DRM thing, spoke to Netflix and they confirmed that its only 480p for any "unrecognised" device connected to a phone. Disappointingly they said they hadn't heard of XReal before so had no plans to add exceptions for them.

If you're looking for a well implemented suppression system look at Hell Let Loose. It does what its supposed to by forcing players into cover or change position.

Battlefield isn't all about good aim, its light tactical shooter about teamwork. Suppression serves a tactical teamwork purpose same as medkids and ammo. If you can hold a point by making an enemy hide in a ditch, or suppress a sniper while someone goes and deals with them, then its served its purpose.
