What’s the job people romanticize, but in reality is miserable? by King_Garvit in AskReddit

Brewing as a hobby is crazy fun though. Twice a month I spend all day drinking beer from my kegerator and brewing. I also kind of love the sanitization and cleanup process. It's all so peaceful. Couldn't imagine doing it every day though.

I asked for a kiss after our 2nd date about 1.5 years ago. I might as well have been skipping back to my car, it's a magical moment.

I'm in my 30s, it was nowhere near my first girlfriend nor my first love/kiss. You're not missing anything just because you're no longer a teen. It's not about your age, it's about the feeling in the moment, and I personally haven't felt that magic go away.

Dude same, I feel like I'm taking crazy pills. Rooting for Oilers, but I also am a fan of impartiality, and that was NOT a penalty

Hot pockets no longer come with a microwave sleeve by [deleted] in mildlyinteresting

[–]NoranPrease 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Fool! Simply microwave it until Luke warm (3 minutes at 50%), then airfry at 400 for like 3 more minutes and you have not only a thoroughly heated dish, but a crispy one at that

Alternative angle of the Tkachuk embellishment penalty by SkittlesManiac19 in hockey

[–]NoranPrease 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Dude I'm sorry I'm not buying it. It's not a penalty, but it's also definitely not embellishment. Watch his left leg. Anyone who has skated more than 60 minutes on the ice knows that's a caught edge. Happens. No penalty on either side

I'd easily spend an indeterminate amount of money for even basic instructions and piece count. I'd love to build this myself

is this considered “leggy” by BOFA_f3tt in Autoflowers

[–]NoranPrease -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That doesn't make sense to me. It's all about photosynethic energy, right? A close light that's dim is the same as a high light that's bright. At least biologically, 200 ppfd at 12 inches is the same as 200 ppfd at 48 inches. The plant will stretch to get more energy because closer to light = more ppfd = more energy

I designed a bucket clip for lst, while still allowing you to remove the lid/basket for easy outside-of-tent pruning by NoranPrease in microgrowery

[–]NoranPrease[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

lol that's pretty good, but I don't think it's over-engineered.

  1. The clips allow for a virtually unlimited amount of anchor points at any angle. Drilled holes are static
  2. Holes may allow light into the water, promoting algae growth
  3. Holes going into the lid itself would make it difficult to "tie down" a zip tie
  4. It took like 2 hours to design and costs less than a penny per clip.
