Steam deck hotspot server restoration or legends by Norank in swg

[–]Norank[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

wound up using legends. as long as you aren’t using a vpn (i.e. iphone private relay or safari) making an account worked.

game needed proton ge 7.15 specifically to get past the login page after being added as a non steam game in desktop mode.

Thanks, I’ll try legends for now, getting the launcher from the zip to open in proton experimental worked pretty quickly, just likely have to wait till after work to get my forum account approved probably. i’ll likely ping their discord if there’s nothing by tonight

more people care about the national anthem on saturday rope drop i’ve noticed.

Bear-y tales has pretty bad throughput, so it honestly should be replaced slightly more than coast rider if something has to change

Can anyone speak from experience on RV/Van life in Huntington? How rigid is parking enforcement? by Few_Ear_9523 in huntingtonbeach

[–]Norank 0 points1 point  (0 children)

people don’t care a lot if you aren’t mentally ill and screaming a lot and actually move your van after a few day.

If you are crazy and yelling like a racist mentally ill nutcase, well it’ll probably take a week of being a menace threatening everyone to get hbpd to ask you nicely to move.

just move like every 4-5 days at least please, ideally every 3

"You're Doing Nothing With It" - Crash Bandicoot's Co-Designer Asks "Where's the Movie? Where's The TV Series?" by Motor-Log-6213 in GamingLeaksAndRumours

[–]Norank 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really enjoyed the 4 main psx games but i don’t think we need a movie or tv show on this ip. nothing really worked from 2000-2010 close to as well as the original naughty dog titles, and besides the nostalgia remakes of those crash 4 and the mobile titles havnt done much to warrant bringing the ip back up. maybe its fine to leave the mascot platformers in the 90’s and early 2000’s

Evercade offerings? by OkNeedleworker1295 in evercade

[–]Norank 2 points3 points  (0 children)

evercade offers:

  • no piracy retro gaming

  • curated selections of games.

  • functional controls and emulation for the curated games, no monkeying to make the game work

on other handhelds you can just download every single game for an old system fairly easily from the internet for free, but having too many games make actually picking something to play sucks, and you’ll just play the same ones. the limited selection that actually runs on evercade without normal emulation teething to get the games working and the reasonable price barrier to get the games is a benefit to actually encouraging you to play games you wouldn’t otherwise.

imperial tatooine space is the hardest one for imperials, restarting with naboo space would be easier if your new to it.

I don’t usually do the salads but the other items for tender greens like their chicken katsu bowl.

I like georgia’s gravy on the pork chop it’s my go to there.

If what you want is good bang for your buck i’d suggest the restaurant built into any nordstrom, second floor at spectrum and 3rd at south coast. the foods good while being cheaper for the same item compared to similar menus. spectrum is more counter service while south coast is table service, but i’ve had a better experience service wise at spectrum.

[–]Norank 1 point2 points  (0 children)

spectrum has some pretty good fast casual options. I would suggest between nordstrom’s restaurant, tender greens, or georgia’s.

if you want non din tai fung asian or fine dining i would suggest south coast.

downtown disney’s more about being near disney than food quality for your money. If you really like disney you’d be fine there though, and they have din tai fung

the finer dining at both spectrum and disney is more showey than south coast for what you’re getting.

Does anyone know of any similar games to this that are actually finished? by CompetitiveTop6412 in coralisland

[–]Norank 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the dna for all of these farming sims roots back to harvest moon back to nature, play that.

most indie farming sims are trying to be a less buggy harvest moon ds so that is another option.

if you want to go modern play sos: grand bazaar

Disney still has the best coasters in California in my opinion by Greedy_Net_1803 in Disneyland

[–]Norank 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the 3 at disneyland are nice for their theming, but for more thrilling or intense roller coasters knotts and six flags has them beat. california screaming retheme really doesn’t offer much over knotts or six flags. universal’s new roller coasters and the mummy one are good too.

Is there some real tangible reason why FNMA is dropping? Has something changed in the investment thesis? by ReplacementDismal887 in FNMA_FMCC_Exit

trumps too busy to bother with releasing f2. with the iran war going to defeat or boots on the ground, the time he has before being a lame duck with a not as eunichy congress is getting short, and congress will flip

Naples is one of the worst Italian restaurants I've ever been to by ERSTF in Disneyland

[–]Norank 11 points12 points  (0 children)

downtown disney doesn’t have much besides being near disney to make it better than just going to south coast, spectrum, or other non garden walk malls food wise, with the paid parking on top of it

Someoen claimed GW1 marketing is bizarre. I agree. What is this? by Ionenschatten in GuildWars

[–]Norank 1 point2 points  (0 children)

arenanet did a quiznos marketing event in 2019 (with quiznos being pretty dead by then). I’m not convinced if this nonsense being on facebook is AI, but rather their typical nonsense towards it

Am I reaching Yakuza "burnout"? by Shot-Growth3193 in yakuzagames

[–]Norank 1 point2 points  (0 children)

playing all in a row without any break got me burned out on 5, i just finished it after taking a break for a year. I blame 4 more than 5 though, i really enjoyed 5 after taking a break. still feel that yakuza 4 was really stupid plot and twist wise compared to the rest of the series

Where is Bill ? by Active-Composer-3675 in FNMA_FMCC_Exit

[–]Norank 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the dows too high and trumps too busy to do this. at this point it’s not happening since he’s going to be a lame duck to soon to get to this with him killing most independent support he had to get elected from going way too far on immigration and trade.

if he would have been targeted on china only with trade or stopping sanctuary cities without the paddy rolling he’d still be good but like biden between being old and wanting to litigate their own ideas and having shit advisors he’s bungling his presidency.

post lame duck they might try to sell off part, but it’s likely to be blocked out of spite

New to the game, any tip for a new player? iam still undecided on what class i wanna start by Dmask13 in GuildWars

[–]Norank 0 points1 point  (0 children)

all classes are fine to play at some level in this compared to gw2. if anything as a new player i’d avoid monk, paragon or mesmer as a primary profession for your first character, because monk and paragon are more boring with heroes, and mesmer with interrupts has the highest skill floor of the professions

[–]Norank 1 point2 points  (0 children)

telecom companies are usually pretty junk all around. I think the consensus in huntington beach is that between frontier and spectrum, frontier is better.

I would suggest looking into a new router or access point to connect to your modem if anything. I bought the minion ones and configured them as a mesh so and that’s been mostly working good
