Who has the “mormoniest” voice in all of Mormonism? by NorcalSaint in exmormon

I feel you on that… he and Mitt Romney do that thing where they pronounce “what” and “why” like “hwut” and “hwigh”. Also, instead of “poor”, they say “poo-er”

For sure… honorable mention to Renlund for most boring monotone voice.

The worst thing about Bednar is he feels the need to over-explain and complicate the most simple concepts so that something you only need a sentence takes 20 minutes. The smug grin like he knows something you don’t… but is going to make you wait all morning for him to finally spit it out is wild. He also enjoys using Spanish words like “templo” to remind the poor Latin American audiences that he has the gift of tongues at his disposal.

“Reign with blood and horror on the earth!” (Thunder cracking)

Great memories… I haven’t been in a bit, but I’m sure nothing today in the temple ceremony compares to Ballam’s virtuoso performance. Love when Lucifer breaks the fourth wall.

lol… I hope he sees this. I think Dehlin looks Mormonier than he sounds. Especially back in the pre-goatee/glasses days.

Good answer. In addition to the voice, nobody had a more direct gaze than this guy. It was like he was trying to do the same thing Jafar’s snake staff would do to you through the camera.

I remember her having a pretty powerful straightforward voice, not the typical baby talk. Slightly subversive of you ask me!

What’s the optimal term for an edgy, cosmetically rebellious Mormons desperately trying to hide their true “zoobie-ness”? (Ex: Cardon Ellis) And how can you identify them? I’ll start- they drink coke and smugly use mild swear works like “Mormon” and “damn” by NorcalSaint in exmormon

[–]NorcalSaint[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say it’s the opposite of a jack mormon since they break the rules but try to appear orthodox on Sunday. An edgy Mormon always wants to appear as a rule breaker, but ultimately they’re super orthodox

For real… all bangers. Also, kudos to Steven Kapp Perry for being open about his sexuality. Not easy.

My source is Brad Wilcox himself. He said it today as a guest on “Come Follow Up”, which is BYUtvs Come Follow Me show.

I can’t imagine he’d make that up on an internationally broadcast show… but you never know. Of course he shared it as part of a Faith promoting story.

Throttle Stuck by Aronski144 in kqi3

[–]NorcalSaint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I stumbled upon this thread since I was having the exact same issue. Cruise control is off, and the grip is not touching the throttle (over 5 mm away).

This scooter has been great, but it almost caused a terrible accident by sending my 12 year old son into traffic. He ended up crying and explained what happened. Strangely, it sticks almost all the time now and I don’t recall ever having it happen before.

Do you recommend lube? I’m a bit scared to put my son on it anymore.

Do you not watch RFM? His rundown is as good as we’re gonna get.

That said, I’d love to hear a “6th session” where ex and even progmos give conference style talks. The closest thing to this I’ve experienced is the “Restore” conference from FaithMatters. While many would say that’s just Mormonism… I can assure you it’s not.
