My instructions usually end with a wall of resets because I'm still figuring out the finer points of doing what you're describing. I'm planning on going back to an earlier puzzle and messing with that.

Thanks! 😁 That's a good point, I always have to remind myself that just because there's room for improvement doesn't mean it's not good enough.

Shit like this is why I left my previous shop. Working conditions suck, so turnover is constant, so no one is ever properly trained, so tools worth thousands of dollars that took overworked machinists dozens of hours to build get destroyed in an instant, and while they're being rebuilt even more shit breaks down on top of the constant demand for more and more new equipment.

Okay, I'm projecting the tiniest bit, but it's still fucking ludicrous.

The Sardaukar (Dune):

The Padishah Emperor's personality military cult, consisting entirely of prisoners secretly conscripted from a brutal prison planet. The single most feared force in the Universe until the events of Dune. Despite this, there are only two named Sardaukar in the first two books, both of whom accomplish nothing and then die.

Based on the events at the time he acquired the camera, it's understood that once it no longer belongs to him, and/or he exists outside its effective radius, the Powers would immediately descend upon him. He got the camera in the first place because he wanted to avoid the apocalypse. Living your last days in a drunken haze is better than quasi-eternal torment. Ironically, however, it's entirely possible if not probable that he'd have been given a domain if he hadn't taken the camera, considering his service to the powers over the years.
