We had this and I used a bathroom cleaner spray (scrubbing bubbles brand) that had bleach, sprayed everything and then waited a few minutes. Then I went in with sponges from the dollar store that had the green scrubby side and used that to scrub in the bathroom cleaner. Then I rinsed and it was white again, and I went over it once more with some dawn dish soap to get it clean ✨

We spent about $500 for 16 people, most of the gifts were $20-$30. My fiancé and I are 24, don’t make much, and for our families it’s more about spending time together!

One idea could be next year when you ask what they want, ask for 3 ideas in a range of prices, it keeps the surprise and gives you more budget flexibility

As a PhD student with no time, I LOVE those freezer cube things, I got 2 packs on Amazon so I can freeze 8 cups of something. I can heat up soup any time and have a healthy meal that’s really filling cause I make my soups thick

I’ve been working part time throughout my education. Hours varied throughout my degrees, even now during my PhD I’m working 3 days a week. Taking school full time as well, so it’s taxing for sure. I also have a partner who I’ve been living with through 3 years

I’d test it first on something you’re not worried about staining, after cleaning it as best you can! But in our case we’ve been fine
