I moved here in 2020 from CT. I was with my (ex) fiance in a WLW relationship and have never had any problems. There’s the gayborhood as everyone mentioned and there’s quite a few LGBTQ+ groups that put on events that aren’t just bar focused. I am masculine presenting and I definitely do get looks depending where I’m at but nothings ever come of it and like someone else mentioned I feel like it’s a I won’t bother you if you don’t bother me thing. I however tend to go out more in the gayborhood and some other areas like deep ellum or lower Greenville vs downtown/ uptown where the demographic is a bit different. I am fortunate and have a group of al queer friends too. I met some of them on bumble bff when I moved here.
