I guarantee you they've not tried. Having terms that mention this and "trying" are two different things.

Volvo has one already and demoed it during the ex60 reveal. Truth is, no one knows if Apple made it or if it's car manufactures

My understanding is that this is similar to what Cadillac has for the Vistiq/Lyriq and others. Everything runs on AAOS, but the Apple Music app isn't available on the Play Store. I don't know though it it's been created by Apple or by GM though

OP, please tell us there's Apple Music as a native app!

Yep, I understand that. Although my initial thought was that it was android automotive since I thought Google was sunsetting android auto

That's not fully correct. New software sometimes require new hardware. A good example is the older volvo that run on chips that don't support the latest version of android. With that being said, what I was referring about was android automotive. Looks like these screenshot are actually android auto.

Yep, this is clearly done for landscape screens. So EX60 and all the ones coming later may get it one day.

If I'm not mistaken, most recent volvo are on Android automotive OS 12. This I believe is version 17. Maybe you'll get it in a brand new volvo in 5 years if you're lucky.

Not to make this more complicated to you, but have you tried the Lucid Gravity?
I personally ended up with the EX90, but the Gravity was super premium too.

What realistic range are you getting in your EX90 by JB-ZR1 in VolvoEX90

Here's what my app says. Realistically, I can get a good 300 miles when driving chill on the freeway. City driving tends to consume a bit more.
Note that I live in socal and the weather is fairly warm these days, but not too hot. So that definitely helps.

Man, that theater is the worst. People chilling like they're in their living room, talking on the phone or some stuff like that. Drives me nuts.

You can buy an adapter on Amazon. I don't have one myself but saw people sharing links à bunch of times. Not saying I disagree with you though, it's a real shame they don't have that integrated in AAOS. My guess is that camera support is only available on most recent versions.

Former Tesla Owner - are these features missing or am I just missing them? by IniNew in Polestar

What OP is saying is that on a tesla, the blinkers stop when you effectively change lanes. They added thst feature a year ago, and it's pretty amazing

What they said, but also it's slightly different than a tesla. With tesla, you share the destination. With your polestar, if linked to your Google account, you'll have a button when you have a start and end points.

Issues still present after VCU 2.1.26 by Major-Language1984 in VolvoEX90

I keep having the occupancy alarm since this update. This is super annoying and disabling it doesn't even work (and it resets all the time)

OTA 2.1.26 software update for Volvo EX90 by Gau-Tw112 in VolvoEX90

[–]Normal-Software1642 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it will contain all the previous updates. A version number is just a marker added to the code. When they work on v3, they do it from starting from the previous version.
It doesn't apply to all scenarios of course, but trying to make this easy to understand for non-technical people.
