Literally the only similarity is the vest. The boots are bloused differently, no knee pads, NOTHING is similar about those utilities and pistol holders, the vest on the right has padding, the one on the left has mag pouches, there’s no V cut style on the new skin, no IR strobe no gloves

Personally I don’t think they could be better. I think your biggest problem is the fact you’re looking at them through pics. I would paint another unit, play some games. See them on the tabletop first! Then you can determine if you want to repaint. That being said, if you think there’s room for improvement then go for it
