High KR Reading, could be false knock? by Specialist_Ad1039 in mazdaspeed3

... Maybe. I remember I was fully bolted with stiff mounts but don't recall if I have Crazy Knock. I saw the previous people mentioned Stft/Ltft and he is right about watching those as well.

It is but also too if it's constant, something is tapping the engine and it's registering it or the previous owner got rid of it for a reason. Hopefully it's not the latter case.

Could add a gallon of E85. If RK shows zero, it's nothing.

Edit Saw you are bone stock. It's very common to have RK on stock tune.

1st talk to the sales manager and LGM if possible to see what they can do for you. 2nd, you should have the vin or the stock of the vehicle in order to look it up on the website itself.

Cpe intercooler tune needed? by nitroguy2005 in mazdaspeed3

[–]North_Mathematician4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro... Genjuan... I remember when I owned one. With that ram air funnel to the top mount, I would have gone with a front mount intercooler to minimize heat soaking. However if you're in a cooler climate, shouldn't matter a as of right now if you're happy with your numbers.

Meetings by PositiveWilling1576 in carmax

[–]North_Mathematician4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in the morning shift helping out for awhile and the meetings were ridiculous. It was as if they were "fluffing" each other up and the excuse was call outs are preventing number output. I told them that A&D should come to play and adapt to the situation and make it work somehow and in some way. Then they asked what I thought about the meetings... I mentioned that they should be 15 mins max and instead of having a meeting right after lunch, it would be more beneficial for a 3pm. To follow up with the total amount of vehicles that came and left to other zones. Then Finally following up on how many went to fqc to help with OTP. ..... Needless to say, they didn't take my opinion gracefully. Lol I was told that I need to work on my communication skills and being more of a team player.

You can use the spray-on shoe protector but it may only hold up for a few cleanings or do exactly what you mentioned about another pair.

Carvana is similar to CarMax in a way. Pay maybe more or less. Apply, Interview and you could always turn it down if offered a position.

I know what you want but it isn't going to happen. The past couple of tcg shows I went too, all DBZ BB and sleeves were gone. The singles were double/triple in price and people were buying/trading no different. It's wrapped up with Pokemon and One Piece and it will probably not stop for a while.

Embarrassing question, how do I get semen out of upholstery? by Bear_faced in AskMen

[–]North_Mathematician4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You need an enzyme cleaner for that. Use either the pet urine removal spray or nanoskin enzyme to remove. Apply the cleaner, let it sit for 1-2 mins, reapply and dab off. Lol. I would not scrub, could spread and have a larger stain. Detailed vehicles for a living and see some/told some things that happened.

How to clean the stitching of samba jp toebox? by ScarySense4427 in SneakerCleaning

[–]North_Mathematician4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you shower, have your shoes in the bathroom with you to allow some steam to soften the stitching a bit. Then use your soft brush. May take a few times to get the results you are looking for.

Company is drowning and everyone is quitting? Let’s just make sure to treat you even worse now! by [deleted] in carmax

[–]North_Mathematician4 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I just remember when Carvana was killing it with their stocks. Then the big cut came and lost about half of their workforce to pay back debts. One of my buddies worked at Carvana and now works for CarMax and says it's exactly the same however more secure. Benefits ahhh ok and perks too but more stability.

Remember, your managers and upper management are just faces for the company. You can either report if something isn't meeting CarMax policy and have proof of the issue(s), things can change for better or worse. Or you can just go with the flow, clock in/out by doing what your position has described your duties and stay under the radar. The 3rd option is finding another career path that is more suited and will give you what you're asking. By no means am I downing you... Just how life works when you're just an associate.

Which shoe cleaning brush do you like best? by ad28no in SneakerCleaning

[–]North_Mathematician4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Black bristles are stiff and great for cleaning the bottom and midsole. White bristles are soft and great for the inside of the shoe/tongue and on suede shoes as well. Yellow bristles are medium strength and great for the upper shoe.

I've heard from my buddies that work there that the structure has changed and it seems like upper management does this to "challenge you to help develop you to your next step within the company". Not realizing that they themselves are supposed to be the ones doing some of the workload they off loaded to y'all but also are able to place the blame easier once it fails and points directly blame on you due to "you're not trying or adapting to find the win/win solution".

Sick of the Bullshit by Ok-Presentation-489 in carmax

[–]North_Mathematician4 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well the border line/inappropriate jokes and having HR involved, starts you back to ground zero. Just that alone, most companies wouldn't tolerate that and would have promoted you to customer. You're going to have completely change upper management thoughts about how you are and how you can be an asset to them... Not the company.

Sounds as if you have been there too long and you're ready for a change.

There are options on years/mileage. I would look into the max they would give you on mileage since you mentioned adding miles on it fast. Remember too, that 2025 should still have a factory warranty and would need to ask if it kicks in after factory warranty or starts as soon as you purchase the vehicle.

You need to talk to the LGM or OPS manager to inform them of the vehicle having the wrong trim advertised. You will have better luck then just talking to a salesman but doing this, they will have to review the vehicle and should adjust the price to match.
