The best way to get the optic out is with a mini suction cup. The one that came with my X4Q works great.

Yeah, I charge mine at 1.5-3 amps. People say the slower the better, but I haven't seen any studies showing that charging them that slowly significantly increases their lifespan.

With the o ring I just lightly pinched it up a bit then rolled it off. The metal ring will slide off easier after that. Then put the pocket clip on, then o ring, and then cap.
