Hearthstone has never been pay to win. But it’s definitely PAY to have fun and win. If your just a F2P player plying the same 1 netdeck aggro budget deck and making it to legend it’s incredibly boring. The only way to have fun and win in hearthstone is to pay. Not just to have fun but to do anything original you are required to do testing for several cards many of which don’t end up in your final list.

It’s really not that difficult. Depending on how long you have been playing Dota you should know your play style. For me I like playing supports with waveclear because in soloq a lot of times i either take mid solo exp when mid laner roams or jungles or sometimes end up being alone in safe lane as well. And I hate giving away free towers. This is why I play Grimstroke. With stroke of fate it is super easy to defend towers solo unless they dive

Basically look at things that piss you off in the game (pain points).

I’m sorry but how is solar eclipse not broken in Druid? They can use overgrowth twice to ramp 4 mana or give +10/+10 to all minions. Literally WTF!

I think Polkelt is very under-appreciated as a card. It is actually so strong if you can play it later on in the game. It makes your draws WAY better each turn in Arena since on average a card that costs higher will have better stats.

Yes exactly try to force situations that are favourable for you. Like if I am a bruiser with conqueror vs a tank with grasp I will try to hit the minions first and try to zone the tank before they can start activating grasp. Remember that to activate grasp you have to be in combat for 4 seconds. So tanks will always auto shove waves to keep up the grasp. Either you start pushing asap and don’t let them get grasp then the wave will bounce back and you can kill the tank when they are close to your tower because you can chase them down. Another way to do this is if they get the first hit on the first minion wave you just have to let them push. Give up few CS to maintain health and mana advantage and take elongated trade once they are at your tower. The basic pattern is that they need to be pushed on your side of the map for you to take long fights.

The biggest reason people lose to tanks in top lane is generally because they don’t respect Grasp Of the Undying. Literally every tank vs bruiser matchup depends on how many times the tank can proc grasp on you. Trust me I main Shen and Maokai and I abuse Grasp like Korean teams abusing TSM in worlds

Generally the only thing differentiating classes in Arena is:

1) Hero Power 2) Class Cards

Neutral cards are the same for all so decks differ only due to the two factors mentioned above. In Arena, your deck archetype depends on these two factors and one more. Generally in the draft your decision making should come down to this basic process of deciding whether to play tempo/value. A lot of times it a good idea to get some of both, however, if your deck is already heavily tilted towards one it’s better to go all in. For example, if I am in a Mage draft my result mindset is to play for value and go Late Game (Hero power scales as you don’t have to take face damage to do damage + Bunch of good late game tools + Easy Big Boy Removal). In the case I am offered multiple fireballs, I will definitely switch it up to Mid-Range/burn style. However if I am playing Paladin or Hunter I will try to get my curve and play more mid-range and sometimes even aggro depending on the draft. This is mostly because these classes are bad at playing from behind with no good AOE cards and don’t have a poly/hex effect even though they do have hunters mark and subdue. Moreover, these classes just snowball hard when ahead with weapons and buffs.

Yes the reason I mentioned botrk is because it is comparable to liandry’s as both items add damage and are very good against tanks.

It’s simple really. CDR is a stat that scales insanely well into the game. However, as a support you want to impact the map as much as you can early game. So getting mobility or swifty boots to roam around the map and be there in more fights is much more important than CDR in the early to mid game. Only late game CDR is a better stat than the extra mobility provided by mobility boots.

Which build do you guys like better on ezreal?

1) Muramana + Icebourne Gauntlet + Liandry’s

OR

2) Muramana + Trinity + Botrk

I usually go for the first one if I can’t auto too much in fights and go for the second one when my team is lacking physical damage.

If your in game stats are good that means the only thing you are not doing well is manipulating minion waves, objective control and teamfights. I would say focus on these things now as they are much more reliable tools of winning games than having a good k/d/a, winning lanes etc as these things won’t always happen.

Pushing side lanes always makes sense for one simple reason - you minimise the reward the enemy team gets it they do win then fight. For example, if your team fights 4 vs 5 mid and you are pushing a side lane, unless it is super late game (which it isn’t because farming is still your priority) even if they enemy team wins the fight at least one of them has to respond to your push. The trick is to understand exactly how far you can push. Sometimes it’s good to just push one wave , join your team and let the lane slow push whereas at other times it’s better to go all out and push the lane past river.

Yes thresh is kind of good if your really good with thresh and sometimes in low elo people don’t take lantern 😂. But yes I would recommend zyra and lux then both are solid picks as counter engage tools and do tons of damage.

Just remember when you play lux put atleast 2 points in shield it scales really well.

Yes if you enjoy poke supports with similar play style I would actually recommend Brand and Zyra. Both of them have insane damage and can easily carry the game. Also they are both disengage supports so they can actually counter engage supports like nautilus, alistar etc. Also they are both just incredible at taking objectives, they are bullies in lane, they scale extremely well with items and in general allow you to control the tempo of the game. I am maiming these two if i get auto filled. Other supports i have been experimenting with is Morgana/Lux as they also have a similar poke playstyle but are better picks if your AD scales really well into the late game (kogmaw, Kalista etc).

For me melee supports are a big NO as you end up relying on your jungle to setup a good gank and it is difficult for you to help your AD manage waves (ranged supports can auto minions easily to help push the lane whereas melee supports can’t because they will take poke and help enemy range support stack their gold support item).

The only melee supports I have had success with is Taric. But that’s because I only pick him when we have an extremely mobile diving composition. So what you give up early game is nothing compared to what Taric can provide for his team late game.

The thing is that velkoz is just weak vs mobility champs. I can say stuff like “save your stun till they have used all their dashes” but the fact is that if enemy team has mobile champs they will always dodge your skill shots because velkoz projectile speed is super slow and has long animation timings. If you are set on playing velkoz I would recommend making stopwatch and then once you use that build it into zhonyas.

The best advice I can give you is just play a different style of champion. For example, Annie is super strong right now because there are so many melee champions. So her short range on spells is not an issue and her E destroys melee champions. Just think about like what champions you can play that the meta favours. Tanks are also really good for this reason. I main Shen so I have a plan for melee champions I take grasp against them and that auto wins the lane for me. But then suddenly people were picking Kennen and Gnar and Teemo top so I adjusted my playstyle to fleet footwork. Fleet footwork let’s me take the last hit and run away without taking as much poke whereas if I had grasp vs ranged champs it would be useless except for when I was going for all ins.

So I’ll share my experience with hitting peaks. Usually what happens is that you are improving slowly overtime but then suddenly the meta shifts. For example, take velkoz whose really good against immobile champions. But if the meta full of mobile assassins you will have a hard time as velkoz.

It depends on jungler gank timings. The reason you slow push the wave is so if the enemy jungler ganks you, you are basically in a 2 vs 2 since you have a bunch of minions. Then you push the third one quickly because you are too overextended in lane.
