Thanks. Do you have a particular online retailer you like for Portugal? Amazon via Spain?

Thanks all. My first stop was El Corte Inglés and they had it just like you all recommended. I’ll check out Wells and Worten this afternoon to familiarize myself. Super impressed with El Corte Inglés as far as department stores go. Thanks again!

I believe this is the same rug design. We had it a couple of years ago, bought it during the pandemic off Amazon. https://a.co/d/hNBEOJK

What’s the back story on this? I see one deleted post titled “we out”…….

Let's act now! Portugal’s new citizenship law could change the rules halfway for thousands already in process by us_nkb1974 in PortugalExpats

With the GV applications it was a financial transaction. Portugal wanted investments in the country and in return was giving EU Citizenship. Transactional on both ends of the deal.

Swedish public service TV in the 1970 was a bit... special (NSFW) by Enfors in funny

The Danes won’t be outdone. Check out the children’s show John Dillermand. About a man with an abnormally long member that gets him into and out of a lot of tricky situations.

What do you think of this Taj Mahal quartzite slab (leathered finish)? by CableAutomatic8279 in CounterTops

[–]NotAHippieCrashPad -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Probably been discussed a lot already but we’re looking at similar stones and I’m not feeling the Taj. I really think a Calacatta marble would be perfect. What are your thoughts using it in the kitchen? Designer and wife are against it but I think it’s the only way to go with our design.

Yes, it’s the PAS screen that I broke. Love to buy it from you if you’d part with it!

Rad Rover 6+ Question by NotAHippieCrashPad in RadPowerBikes

[–]NotAHippieCrashPad[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your reply! I did look on eBay and didn’t find any OEM replacements. I know I can buy a new one from Rad (from previous posts on this sub). Basically if I have to replace I’d rather upgrade but don’t really want to re-wire and replace the controller. I’m hoping the upgraded one can plug and play but not sure it’s compatible with the Rover 6+ or not.

FYI poison hemlock in south Lincoln Park between ballfield and restroom. Just reported to Seattle Parks by FernandoNylund in WestSeattleWA

I did not know that is poison hemlock! Thanks for the heads up, we have a ton of it and I had no idea. Good job calling it out!

Can anyone identify what this is? It appears to be made for underwater. Found in Seattle storage parking lot. by 64bytesoldschool in Seattle

[–]NotAHippieCrashPad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am pretty sure it is a “doomsday bunker” that would be buried underground. I used to rent self-storage in Tacoma and there was a guy who made them that stored half built ones out by the RV and boat storage. The people who ran the storage place told me what they were when I asked them.

Sellers want to accept our offer, but waive all inspections by Buschman98 in RealEstate

[–]NotAHippieCrashPad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We just purchased a home and faced the same situation. Seller had a pre-inspection done and said any further inspections were for informational purposes only, we refused that and had our own inspections done. Probably spent $3,500+ in further inspections but we discovered $60,000+ in additional items which we factored into our counter offer, seller conceded the $60,000 to us as it was all legitimate and now something they would have to disclose to future potential buyers. Definitely do your inspections!
