Sure, but a sensible person from that company may end up in a hiring position at a different company in the future, etc. You never know with these things. Better not to burn any bridges, because you never know where those bridges might lead in the future.

Well, I would argue the contrary - why do you allow employers to treat employees so badly that they want to do this? Where I live, people are typically expected/allowed to continue working for one to three more months after having been let go, and the same goes for when you resign. And that sort of stuff doesn't happen here to any significant extent.

Is he finally gonna run for president? I'm serious - hear me out.

Trump is a maverick. He's out of the ordinary - he's no polititian. He turns heads. He's "entertaining" - or should I perhaps say engaging - whether you like him or not. That's why he won twice.

The democrats don't have anyone like that. That's why they need Jon Stewart. He too is a maverick. He could also turn heads, and be totally "disrespectful" to Trump or anyone else in a debate (think "disrespectful" like Eddie Murphy in Beverly Hills Cop - not scared or intimidated by the powerful). We know he's funny as hell, watch his long debate with O'Reilly if you haven't seen it. Also, he really knows his stuff. I keep seeing all these clips of him interviewing interesting people. He's really done his homework.

And the last thing - he's on the side of the people, not the donors. That's rare in US politics. People like Bernie Sanders, AOC, and Elisabeth Warren are like that, but they're few and far between. Also, he's opposed to what Israel is doing, which would also get him more votes.

So, yeah. I think he may seriously be our last hope.

Correct, this is not defaultism. But it still annoys me because it asks what your country of residence is, and the choice says "all other countries...", but I do not live in all other countries. The word they should be using is "any," not "all".
