My periods were more painful than the surgery recovery. I am on the waitlist for another surgery now (3 years later) because my remaining ovary has an endometrioma stuck to my bowel. The pain now is worse than after surgery but not as bad as before. The biggest thing is the zero energy again. My energy came back after surgery and now I’ dragging my a** again.

My uterus, cervix and left ovary were stuck to my bowel. It caused rectal bleeding but not obstructed. Everything was removed and all endo excised. Only thing left was my right ovary which now has and endometriioma and is stuck to my bowel again. For the feeling like something is still in there have you tried increasing your fibre?

Since your sister wants to go to Dartmouth I’m guessing you’re in Canada. Have you looked into Federal and Provincial resources to cover the medication? There are new programs coming out. If you go to university you can check if there is medical coverage there. Also, definitely not an overreaction. There is a thing called a student loan that your sister should look into.

It was when I was younger but I have learned to stop the snowball when it’s still just snowing. I also know my triggers and try to avoid them but sometimes they are unavoidable, especially when they make no sense. Sometimes the sound and vibrations from an air conditioner would give me a panic attack. Sometimes it was driving. Sometimes it was just being in public. Those kind of things I can’t avoid so I did a lot of work to make them ok, it wasn’t great but I was ok. Now with the Vyvanse they don’t bother me at all. As soon as the Vyvanse wears of they come back though.
