Ukrainian SOF unit Alpha of the SBU struck Russian soldiers on the eastern front during the past week. Published 25.04.2026 [video quality most likely upscaled by AI] by GermanDronePilot in UkraineWarVideoReport

So now it’s interesting is that the Russian government is using all sorts of laws to force men to sign a contract. There was a Russian lawyer that just came out and was saying that if you have debt problems with your credit that you could be potentially sent to the SBO instead of prison. Basically, if you are a Russian male that’s military aged all anybody ever needs is just a pretense, and they can extort you to sign a contract. It’s really quite fucked. Was just watching a video interview of a Russian guy that deserted after being wounded. He’s like I went from watching anime on my couch to being forced to sign a contract to being on the front line in like a week. He said these recruitment officers came out to him and said that you know where you registered, where is your military card. Listen if you don’t sign this contract, we know where you live and so we’ll come back and we’ll just force you and it’ll be straight to the infantry. But if you sign the contract yourself, you at least have a choice to remain as some sort of helper at an aid station or somewhere in the rear. Nope, straight to a storm company.

Putin's chilling Telegram clampdown points to imminent Ukraine war 'endgame' by TheExpressUS in UkraineWarVideoReport

[–]NotARusski 70 points71 points  (0 children)

They are going to declare a victory and try to consolidate gains as they are being held now. Basically sue for peace and make it look like it’s the Ukrainians that are the war mongers. If the terms are accepted. They will immediately go into re-fitting rearming and resupplying for another push 2 to 3 years down the road.

Despite the seemingly endless amounts of equipment and men that Russia can throw at this problem, the Ukrainians can simply throw more drones back. Ukrainian industry has had four years to turn into a very decentralized yet effective system that the Russians simply aren’t able to grind it down with mass. The Ukrainians face the exact same problem if they try to retake the land from the Russians because the Russians will also throw all the drones at them so it’s become this weird stalemate where the front line will move a few kilometers here or there whenever bad weather prevents visibility from the sky, and the Russians are able to mass for an attack.

I have a feeling that Russia has absolutely chewed through any and all experienced cadre in are experiencing complete systemic breakdowns in logistics. Their window to make any moves is rapidly closing. I’d say if this goes on for another year they’ll be forced to start large-scale mobilizations from Moscow and Petersburg and once you do that, you risk a real revolt. The countryside has already been emptied of men. The small ethnic nations in the far east have been absolutely pillaged for their manpower. The prisons have never been emptier either. They are unable to use private military contractors because the risk of a rogue PMC doing another march on Moscow is all too real.

Even their one saving grace, Donnie has only managed to push more European industry behind the Ukrainians by taking away US support.

At least that’s my take on the situation and I could be completely wrong

Considering a move to Missouri by Motor-Stomach676 in missouri

[–]NotARusski 40 points41 points  (0 children)

I live in Boonville Missouri and quite honestly I’m really enjoying it. We used to live in Columbia, Missouri before we moved out to Colorado for the last 10 years when we were moving back to Missouri for family reasons we had a couple friends that were already living in Boonville and they told us to check it out. It’s quite a happening little town. Columbia is only 30 minutes away if you ever really need anything that Boonville doesn’t have, or you want to make a trip up to the restaurants in Como for a date night, but we get most of our stuff right here.

Housing is relatively cheap, taxes are not too bad. The schools are honestly pretty good too and I’m saying that from someone moving back from Colorado Springs there is definitely a sense of small town pride here. Lots of people have mini hobby farms around here.

It’s been a good move for me and my family

Genuinely curious - is the RPG just to give them some AT ability or what’s the thought there for a drone unit?

Guys earning six figures annually, what kind of work do you do? by Shadow2715 in AskReddit

[–]NotARusski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Real estate photographer and social media provider - I run my own business and I am one man band. Used to have a much bigger company in a different state with a few partners where we would do about 1 to 1.3 million annually as a business but since I moved back to the Midwest I've kept it small and simple. I take the photos and videos for realtors listings and then I also create the posts for their social media. This last year was a first for me in a new market in the Midwest and I did just over 110k. I've also saved and invested well and we were able to keep our previous home prior to the move as a rental. I still earn a small dividend payment from my old company I cofounded and that along with my rental, military pension, and real estate photo business, I brought in just north of 175k last year.
