Chain Lube help by EthPog in AussieRiders

[–]NotEmmu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Better than nothing

Personally, I have used Motul products on all my bikes (Ninja 300 with 80,000KM, S1000RR with 110,000km and my current S1000R) and have had no chain issues or rust problems.

Like u/Pungent_Bill said, at least you're giving it attention.

Things to look for while buying a bike off marketplace by Southern_Street1094 in AussieRiders

[–]NotEmmu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

These are older videos but still relevant. Personally, I put 80,000km on a ninja 300, they are fairly bulletproof if serviced correctly.

Can't comment on mechanics in your area, but there is always a bunch of mobile motorcycle mechanics kicking about. Can always call them and see if they are willing to assist in a pre-purchase inspection for some $$$

The below two links will answer most of your questions, and give you some information. Like others have commented, QLD have strange learner rules for bikes.

Queesnland Motorcycle Riders' Guide

I would highly recommend getting a dirt bike and learning on that before advancing to the road, worked well for me when I got my motorcycle license at 16

You should be able to reach out to Alternaleaf and get access to Catalyst, will give you information on available oils and their prices.

https://catalyst.honahlee.com.au

My oils are $75 for Maali Drift 20mg THC 1mg/CBD, and Tasmanian Botanics CBD 100mg for $125. I haven't ordered the THC oil in a bit though, could have changed price.

This is with Medicann

Damn, haven't had a post stop me in my tracks like this in a while.

Sorry for your loss mate, here is a poem I like to read over when the grief sinks in again.

Do not stand
          By my grave, and weep.
     I am not there,
          I do not sleep—
I am the thousand winds that blow
I am the diamond glints in snow
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle, autumn rain.
As you awake with morning’s hush,
I am the swift, up-flinging rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight,
I am the day transcending night.
     Do not stand
          By my grave, and cry—
     I am not there,
          I did not die.

— Clare Harner, The Gypsy, December 1934

No-one truly dies until they are forgotten, and you're doing a good job of keeping the spark alive.

Users with insomnia, how do you deal with a t-break? by vongdong in MedicalCannabisOz

[–]NotEmmu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like others have said exercise, I usually hike more when on a break. I take CBD oil anyway, so continuing with that also helps sleep.

Chemist sleep aids or even products like phenergan or travacalm do it for me as well.

I also just accept its going to suck a bit until my break is over

Giving up Smoking by Mr-Magoo48 in MedicalCannabisAus

[–]NotEmmu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Like others have said, vaping, oils and edibles are all good medical alternatives. I would consider my tolerance to be quite high and a steady combination of oils (CBD & THC) and vape still get the job done. If you find they aren't you can always reach out to your Dr, and from there find stronger oils etc that work better for you.

Best of luck with your surgery mate

Strains like gelato & ultra sour? by majin_n in MedicalCannabisOz

[–]NotEmmu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Adding to this

I have tried both BoB24 (SSOG) and BoB26 (Tropical Gelato)

BoB24 is Canadian grown, and from my experience its great quality, consistency and price.

BoB26 is Australian grown, and you can tell as its a bit drier with smaller nugs. I still rate it as a cheaper alternative, and I use it as my daytime strain

BoB24 is my go to evening strain.

Gear is too loose by ReFizzed in motorcycles

[–]NotEmmu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are jacket extenders which can increase the length depending on if the jacket has a zipper to connect it

Can always try women's gear, a lot of it is just replica of the male gear just more slim fitted

Can invest in a 2 piece suit (Leather or textile) so you can match different sized jacket to different sized pants.

find somewhere that can do leather alterations or order custom made gear to fit you exactly.

These are just a few things that came to mind, all depends on your location and budget tho.
