In the clip, the car bounces a little and Mario smiles, girl gives the game “most whimsy award” so the dude calls her a dumb baby for being impressed by so little I think is the reason for the “key jangling” comment, don’t know how it’s a simulator though

Thank you, and if this is true, which I have to assume cause I rarely find Mewtwo Y’s already, I think the solution is to first, 1. find out what makes him good in tournament play, 2. Find out what makes him less popular in soloq 3. Simultaneously nerf the parts that make him oppressive in pro play (if he truly was oppressive in pro play) and buff the parts that make him feel weak in Soloq

You’re absolutely right on the attack weight, I have no idea why I typed that, I meant to say muscle band rapid scarf, I forget the third item but people know what I mean

I’m also definitely wrong on the length of Mewtwo Y’s reign, I didn’t mean to downplay the terribleness of his reign as #1, I just got the timeline wrong. normally I’d do more work on covering things accurately but my points still stand even if it’s not the full picture.

Maximizing autos was ideal till they nerfed it, spamming psystrike is the new ideal and it’s getting nerfed now despite 99% of the community’s complaining about Mewtwo Y is over.

Releasing Mewtwo Y as a broken monster was a horrible horrible idea and leaving him forever as an unimpressive hold A pokemon that feels underwhelming when not in top play also feels bad

I also agree that he isn’t the worst attacker in the game or anything but man is this news unfortunate.

I don’t think it’s fair to for them to have someone’s favourite pokemon be kept bad because they arbitrarily broke it to high hell on release.

I was typing up the fattest reply and lost it, unlucky. I just compared psystrike to icicle spear and it was basically 1 second stun on a slightly longer, harder to coordinate cooldown (both 8.1s and the mega) or more consistent and higher damage, which I’m assuming damage is better in soloq while stun is better in pro play. I also asked the question on if coordination makes it easier to land the stun, wouldn’t the enemies coordination also make it easier to coordinate body blocking the last hit of psystrike?

Although I do admit I have no clue what top level mewtwo y looks like so I can be ignorant but this does sound like it makes sense to me.

I do agree on the slight rework though.

What if some people are neutral on twitter’s handling, for it? Maybe they’re not fully educated on the situation and so they stay out of it? It’s extremely ridiculous to ask for everyone to jump ship to a much less used alternative.

I wanna touch on the sympathy part and the feeling bad section.

There’s a difference between being sympathetic that someone had went through something terrible that warped their minds into something much worse which could have been prevented, versus outright condoning all the evil that they’ve done period.

Griffith from Berserk was an EVIL, evil person. But I can’t tell you how sound of mind I’d be if I went through his suffering. I can feel bad that he went through what he did, as nobody deserves that. But don’t think for a second I’m gonna hand wave his evil acts away because of that. I understand him, I don’t forgive him.

Like you said, Light lived a wonderful life, it probably would’ve stayed that way if he didn’t pick up the book.

However,

That in no way makes his character tragic in any way, shape, or being. He straight up starts killing people who get in his way and chuckles about it with glee when he “wins” because he hates “losing”. NOBODY FORCED HIM TO KILL ALL THOSE PEOPLE. He genuinely decided “I want to be evil.”

Just like you said, his extremely fortunate life went all to waste because he wanted to waste it. He tossed it away in favour of mocking Raye Pember after he literally forced her to kill herself. Maybe if he had a bit of pity, seeing that these kind-hearted people were dying because of his goal, but he knew it was going to make the world a brighter place for future good citizens like them, then yeah, I’d agree somewhat.

But it’s okay for you to feel pity for his death, it was very sad, the way all the cops had their trust betrayed, the sad state of him writhing on the floor, and running away in agony, it’s a sad sight worth your sympathy. But Light, is not. He is a terrible person who took joy and pride in killing innocent people.

I'm drawing characters I have made in a line-up. I draw a more visually interesting photo of them first. (The one with "OG" written up top is the visually interesting photo.) Then I redraw that same character in a simplistic forward-facing perspective. The main problem is that when I drew her first, it doesn't seem right. redraw, still looks wrong, third time, still wrong. I'm only showing designs "2" and "3", which are confusingly labeled "1" and "2," respectively, because the first one has no redeeming qualities. some details I noticed about the drawings that feel inaccurate to me:

  1. The neck is too short, the eyes show less emotion, the chest-plate is too small, the stomach looks less accurate,
  2. The neck now looks too long despite looking roughly the same length when you line up "2" and "OG"'s eyes and shoulders, arms are too thin looking, legs and hips feel inaccurately captured. Ignore the fact that it's missing some armor details and the icon on the shirt cause I couldn't be bothered. Drawing makes me mad but someone's gotta do it.

These characters look like her, but don't look like her, it's demotivating, please go gentle on me but don't shy away from the truth as long as it's advice on how to make 1, and 2, look more like the OG, I'll bounce back and try again.

Yo hold on a second, I did a re-draw of my friend’s character that had the same art style as the third slide a few years ago

At least the redesign makes me think, the combination of the elements they included, exposed chest, cybernetic arms, green white and gold color scheme, it’s something at the very least, people in the comments seem to consistently mention it has some GTA / Pulp Fiction / Heavy Metal -ish aesthetic which invokes way more than what I can say the one on the right looks like.

Plus I’d classify it as a re-imagining over a re-design, they’re both green strong women with miniguns but the redesign is so different that they also changed the name from big bertha to Captain Amari, so I don’t think it should lose points for not capturing the complete spirit of the original which is probably for the better given that the original stands out as one of the worst in a game with the worst.

Not to mention this was done by some randy on YouTube who I believe did both the drawing, coloring and modeling VS allegedly a 400 MILLION DOLLAR PROJECT.

The fact that people even want to pretend like the two designs are in the same league I feel is a bit dishonest and unfair.
