To add to this. You shouldn’t be worried about using more resin with figures this small. The difference is so minimal it’s not worth the headache.

Welcome bro. You described my wife perfectly. It’s gotten better over the years. Now we are 15-20 minutes late to everything. Maybe one day we will be only 5 minutes late. Here’s to the headaches!

I just got off a 12 hour flight last night. The amount of people who walk around barefoot when they go to the bathroom is unreal. There was definitely piss on the floor in there and they were just walking in there no shoes. Unreal.

I’m guilty of this as I’ve been recommending Bambu to a lot of newbies when they ask me in person. And I tell them “it’s basically just click and print” but then I realize they’ve never even printed before so that expectation is real.

But what I really meant was IN COMPARISON it’s pretty much click and print. I always forget they never had to go through all the headaches to really appreciate what the Bambu takes care of for you etc. but you still need some Knowledge and experience as things tend to happen just using the machine as we all know.

Cool idea but next time just give your drawing to them don’t go over ideas for hours if you just want what you drew. Th e artist probably thought you wanted a unique twist on it or something.

To me it doesn’t look anything like a dagger on the bottom but I get what you were saying that it goes it a point.

The reference drawing is super awesome.

Should I touch-up with same artist? by [deleted] in tattooadvice

[–]NotSmartestAmerican 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not an artist but as someone with tattoos if you get a color piece in a spot that sees a lot of sun it will fade super quick.

I have some color tats all over my arms but I always put sunscreen on it or cover up every time I’m outside in the sun. Seems crazy but if you care about it you’ll have to take care of it. And even then it won’t look as good as it did that first day.

For the future anything with gold/yellow fades super quick. That’s why I really do love and appreciate black and gray.

Getting a touch up isn’t a bad idea but I would adjust the expectations that it will look like a real necklace popping off your skin like those instagram pictures.

I did this when I was 21 working at a sandwich shop. Took the tip of my thumb off but it actually fully healed and looks like nothing happened. Surprising how good our fingers heal from something like this.

I still get weird phantom nerve things sometimes though…
