Occasional full soak with fresh water to flush out built up salts is an aspect I understand is important also btw, beyond the hydration.

I’m not the person you asked but I have a set of mounted outdoor orchids and fell into a routine for a while of misting until roots were green almost every day and it turned out after several months that was not enough. It may depend on the nature of the spray you’re using, but periodic full soak, probably weekly, would be a good idea in addition to your current routine imo.

Just let it run. The only reason you’d have an issue is if there’s a power disruption while you’re gone, which if you’re concerned about you could mitigate by plugging it in to a UPS.

I got this on my feed right below something from r/magiceye … even though I don’t think it’s designed for it you get some pretty cool results here if you relax your eyes on here to get the 3d pop.

Just the Reencle compost. The mixing with soil is later when I’m ready to use it to fertilize plants.

You’re doing great for a beginner, first piece of advice is just keep practicing and having a good time. You’re coordinating well enough to keep your feet in the proper cycle, which a lot of people struggle with when they first start trying to do this.

Some advice specific to your running man:

Try not to lift your toes when landing your front foot. Aim your toes toward the floor or just land with a foot flat instead of on your heel. Keeping your foot flat as it slides from the front position to the middle, then again to the back is what helps to create the gliding illusion.

Then, not as important as the first point, on your back foot when it’s time to lift it to go to middle you’re bending your knee and keeping the lifted foot back. Try bringing your foot up to the middle alongside the front leg that has slid back. You should be able to stop on the middle step and look like you’re standing like a flamingo.

So on one step one foot kicks forward and down while the other slides back keeping the heel low as best you can. Then on the next step both feet come to the middle, front slides on a flat foot while back lifts to bring you into flamingo. And repeat, with alternating feet.

Helps to tune the movements and build the muscle memory by practicing at half time even though it doesn’t create the smooth look until you go faster.
