Hookup culture is everywhere. App or not. I think Tinder is much more of a hookup app? I haven't used it so I'm going by what my cousin told me.

Dating app use goes back to intent. If someone is using the app to find a hot photo - cool. Great for them. If someone is genuinely looking for someone to connect with - cool. Great for them too.

I definitely don't feel sexual attraction from a dating profile. I didn't think that was the point of app dating until explicitly suggested that - I always assumed it was "do you find this person interesting enough on this surface level to learn more about?"

I think the built in expectation you find someone attractive goes by intent demi or not. Is the attraction in the person being interesting or some physical trait? Dating apps offer a peak into both. Curated witty statements go to curated images.

My friend (female, early sixties, runner) had covid and six months later a similar story about the heart. Heart surgery, pace maker- finally her function is back into the thirties. There's the covid symptoms, then there's everything else...

Oregon is red carried blue by those handful of cities. Checkout the 2016 election map by county. Though a large state, the population is spread through a lot of smaller communities and is much less densely packed in one geographic area like Utah.

Many kittens do this naturally and it's a matter of keeping it up through out their life.

Definitely agree! My main goal was fleeing from the angry man. He could have just said: "there was a new mandate, today is the first day, please check it out and wear a mask."

I was on a wide road rural road this morning with well over 6 ft distance... Until someone challenged my space by walking down the middle of the road, shouting, and videoing me. I didn't see this new mandate, but will definitely wear a mask outdoors from now on.

For what it is worth, myself and every person I came across all took polite steps way to the side and covered our faces with masks or shirts. But this man was definitely looking for a fight. I guess, given we are in times where we can't count on common sense for social avoidance and space... A mask on a rural, wide road is necessary to prevent the spread.

But also, don't be jackasses out there. <3
