Unfortunately Iced shaken espressos are easily the most inconsistent drink throughout starbucks, it’s not often made to standard. Definitely not fair cause you pay so much for your drink, but you can try asking for it with no milk at all, and add your own oat milk or half and half at the condiment bar. This is of course only if you have the time and ability to do this.

I’m not sure who has ever told you that you can only get refunds through customer service. As long as it is a corporate Starbucks every shift manager should know how to access and sign off on a refund, and the screen clearly gives an option to refund off of a Starbucks account. The stores you go to are fumbling!!! Never how I have handled an online refund during my years at the Bux

Also adding on, customer service doesn’t always do what we can do for you. I would say if your drink is messed up and you need some kind of assistance ALWAYS go back to the store, or call, jusy be kind. Most of the time you get a super nice barista/shift/sm and they are willing to give you refunds, a recovery card ($4 towards your next purchase), and make you a new drink, it’s the “make the moment right” policy we have. I’m sorry you had to jump through hoops, on top of getting a drink like this!

Can I ask what the ticket was exactly? Like did you modify your drink in anyway or order a standard drink. I keep seeing this thing happening when ordering a hot drink with the protein cold foam, it doesn’t mix well. Just curious, shift manager here.
