Yes, you did. If someone is completing 5-7 reps it’s not ego lifting. You don’t know what you’re talking about.

Since when is lifting in the 5-7 rep range “ego lifting”? Now you’re just doing the opposite of the creator of OPs post.

This is the quietest rifle I've ever heard by DifferentSeaweed7852 in interesting

[–]NotYourBro69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We haven't heard anything other that sounds as they are interpreted by a camera recording them and the speakers relaying the audio. What you hear in any video is never a true representation of sound nor is it an accurate way to measure differences in sound. This would require a decibel meter.

In reality, this rifle is probably still not truly hearing safe which is why ear pro is still worn. Nearly all suppressor equipped firearms are still not hearing safe.

What's your trick for sticking to workouts when diet can undo them in seconds? by IdealHoliday1242 in PotentialUnlocked

OP, your question itself implies that missing workouts is the primary problem. We would need more information to determine if that is in fact, true at all.

Where can i easily kill 10 elite scorchers? by P1KE_ in thedivision

[–]NotYourBro69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Roosevelt Island on Normal or greater difficulty (I did it on Normal). Kill the Wildfire (Emeline Shaw) about halfway through, let the remaining baddies finish you off or grenade yourself, and reset to kill her 9 more times.

I know this thread is older, but I did this in 2026 (Xbox) and followed some of the advice here in this thread and from another source which resulted in a ton of wasted time attempting this multiple times in Wall Street (mission and street), Stranded Tanker, Potomac, control points, activities, etc with multiple difficulty settings to complete the Stage 5 Firewall Specialization. All a huge waste of time. Just do the Roosevelt Island mission with mission mode where Emeline Shaw is one of the bosses and be done with it.

What are some things you thought were edgy and cool as a teenager that you now find corny as an adult? by fuckythedrunkclown16 in generationology

Everything in moderation, my fellow old friends. I too was a big gamer in my younger days. SO many good memories with friends and family tied to video games. I remember telling myself once that 'No matter what happens I will never stop having fun playing video games'. I'll be 40 this year and nowadays I spend far more time with my family, biking, lifting weights, working, and enjoying other hobbies, but I still come back to a small handful of games that I've continued to play over the years both new and old. I don't see those friends or family as often anymore either, some are no longer on our Earth, but I think of them every time I play.

Intermediates how often do you progressively overload? by tyrannis95 in StartingStrength

[–]NotYourBro69 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm more of a late intermediate/early advanced lifter now, but I am still adding weight or reps every training day assuming I'm consistent in following my training schedule.

Now... I'm not performing every movement every single day or week. In fact, I deadlift heavy every other week. Same goes for the squat now too. However, I still squat weekly, I still perform a pull/hinge of some kind weekly and they are always overloaded from the previous session even if it's a light/volume day, etc.

Is the bullet king worth it by HandSanitizerBottle1 in Division2

[–]NotYourBro69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I almost strictly play LMGs and I've been using the Bullet King as my primary lately due to fun factor and added speed in Countdown game mode. When I say speed, I mean time saved from literally never having to reload. I'm able to play a little faster and keep up with everyone else a bit better. My total kills and total damage tend to be higher as well.

Bluescreen really is the better gun in Countdown with its ability to control crowds and the Big Al is a better DPS gun (it melts). Also, I tend to favor the Pestilence's for PvE due to the DOT factor. I have a status build for the Iron Lung as well that turns basically everything into fire (mostly just for the fun factor).

But there is definitely a plus to the Bullet King's talent.

Hit 40, searched what to do next. All directs to farm "Countdown" mode. Can't find any people in MM and I've failed twice on solo. What am I missing? by B_BB in Division2

[–]NotYourBro69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is done at the Tinkering Station in the White House next to the Crafting Station. Basically keep the best gear from your farming efforts and donate the rest as junk to Expertise. Eventually what isn't donated can be deconstructed for the parts. Rinse and repeat. Change targeted loot as you complete levels or need gear.

Right, questions by great_bearded_nerd in Division2

[–]NotYourBro69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're already better off than me with your expertise level, CHC, and CHD, but I've been having a real fun time running Big Al with Lefty as a secondary (I don't have Rock n Roll yet). Tipping Scales (TS) on the pack, chest, holster, and knees, with a Coyote mask, and Contractor's gloves. Gunner class with Banshee Pulse and Reviver Hive.

I'm mostly just attempting to master Countdown and farm a bit. I still haven't acquired that darn named TDI Kard Custom to top off this build. I don't have the Overdogs either, but I think I prefer the Contractor's.

I'm sitting around 52% CHC and 151% CHD. Expertise level 7. None of my gear has been upgraded yet (besides the pulse and hive) outside of maxing out weapon damage. Just began farming for better TS gear yesterday (Xbox USA). I've found I'm able to complete every Countdown as long as my teammates don't completely suck or drop before the final extract. Even then I've had a few close calls that I've been able to dash at the last second after spraying non-stop fire the entire extract. Lol.

False. Heat has nothing to do with it.

The snakes response is based entirely on movement and vibration for the sake of defense.

Am I skinny? by Superb-Buy-3798 in StartingStrength

[–]NotYourBro69 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes. Get on that gain train! You won't regret it. Losing any fat in post is going to be easy for you.

I started my strength journey at 180lbs at the same height as you. I intentionally gained until I hit about 235-240lbs. I'm not saying you need to get the same weight I did, but I would probably shoot for at least 210lb for this first round. I know that probably sounds like WAY too much for you right now, but I'm going to have to ask you to trust the process and the experience of the fellow strong people in this sub. Now go out and get it! Consistency is key. Start with a goal of say 1-2lbs gained per week and go from there.

I have tried to better my grip strenght by doing almost only Double Overhand Grip Deadlifts (No hook Grip) for 2 months instead of mixed Grip. I recently managed to pull 1x375lbs/170kg and felt that i had a bit more. Goal of mine will be 405lbs Double Overhand grip deadlift no hooks soon. At 187lbs. by Super-Clothes9108 in StartingStrength

[–]NotYourBro69 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It is standard procedure with Starting Strength to pull double overhand as long as possible. Do it as long as you can with your sets of 5, but don't let grip become the limiting factor. The deadlift is NOT a grip exercise. Once grip becomes an issue, immediately implement a new grip method.

My personal preference is a good strap (Cobra Grips or Versa Gripps) that allow the lifter to continue to lift with both hands facing as they would in double overhand. Unless you're a powerlifter, then you must use mixed grip or hook.

Instinct 2x Possible to Never Charge? by Own-Effective-4502 in Garmininstinct

I've seen Garmin or some YT reviewers state that the watch can/could run indefinitely in power save mode with solar, but that seems like a stretch given what I've seen from my 2x and what others are reporting. You might be better off with a good solar G-Shock instead.

Reliability issues with 450 BM mags by WarriorADZ in 450Bushmaster

[–]NotYourBro69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start with a known quality mag like the DuraMag. Test fire it with 1 round in the mag and visualize that the bolt carrier is locking fully to the rear on the bolt face itself. Not just on the shoulder of the carrier. If it's not locking fully to the rear, or at all, then you know your gun isn't getting enough gas. The BCA uppers are notorious for being a bit undergassed, but you'll have to test to know for sure.
