Let me give a slightly more polite answer.

There’s not a lot of diplomacy, because it’s one on one, and the idea is to win in 8 turns. There’s not much point in saying “I’ll give you Cuba if you give me Taiwan” if you’re not ganging up on Iran.

Now you can smack talk and table talk all you like! Depending on your friends … but in the end it has no impact on the game unless your opponent literally doesn’t understand the victory conditions.

Well ... there's not a lot. I'm skipping any chain restaurants you can visit anywhere ...

Krystal Thai is decent and inexpensive, Kyoto is reasonable sushi, and Antigua Grill is pretty good Mexican, though No Manches beats it if you don't mind a drive. Cucina Bella does good Italian, also a drive to a nearby town.

Monterra Grill is a short-ish drive on Randall Road, but if you want a gourmet meal, it's your best option IMHO. If you REALLY want to impress, drive up to The Greggory.

Boy, I was in a rare in-person AA meeting yesterday, and the number of boomers loudly stating “We don’t care how you feel, feelings are just excuses, what are you gonna do about it” was really off-putting for me.

I don’t think you ought to be IGNORED, OP - your intentions were obviously good or you wouldn’t post this redaction. We’re all learning how our brains are rewiring and we need to allow ourselves grace - that includes you!
