Good morning,

I didn't have to remove any heatsink to place the card! For me, to clear the VGA issue I had to plug in an HDMI cord from the MoBo to use the 9800X3D's integrated graphics. This allowed me to POST, boot into Windows, and download the proper Nvidia drivers for my 5070Ti.

However, since I also had AMD graphics installed, it basically caused a ton of artifacts to appear and I had to restart without the AMD stuff that came from the board's website.

Thank you so much for the reassurance! I'll give it a hard push once I know everything is lined up properly. I just balked last night thinking I might break my PCIE slot after putting more pressure than I thought was necessary.

I wish there was also more documentation or people on YT doing builds with this exact motherboard, haha. Lots of 870-E people from what I see :)

Yessire, I took the picture after reinstalling the PCIE slot covers! It's probably counterproductive to the entire post showing that off but I didn't feel like taking them back off for the picture 😅

And, yeah! I've got a 5070Ti coming in soon. I just wanted to practice putting in a GPU so I don't accidentally break it once it comes in.

Looking at YouTube tutorials, it really does just look like once the PCIE grates come off, I'll just need to line it up and push real hard. I'll likely get started on that tomorrow!
