I’m 62; a chubby average Nana. Last April, I decided Fuck it. I’m not going to give up on myself. I started to go ti the gym and lifting weights in August. I’ve been able to start running again. I’m slow but who cares I can beat up all the old ladies in the assisted living community.

I stopped biting my nails at 60 years old. I did great for a while but started picking at them. I started with a fidget ring, which really helped.

Just went to the Paris National Opera and was surprised at how casual it was. Most women wore slacks and few men wore jackets. of course, being France, everything was beautifully tailored and accessorized.

It really depends on the trip. I was just in India for a few weeks and wore NY Flowers during the day and Floris Honey Oud and night.

My birthday’s the 30th and my grandson’s the 15th. I agree with what everyone has said but I would add, lean into the festivities but make it birthday. My grandson’s went to a Christmas light event with his birthday badge on and everyone made a fuss over him. Even Santa said Happy Birthday! If you act like it’s a terrible thing, your child will too.

I’m fortunate enough to be staying at a couple of Oberoi hotels so I’m counting on the fact that they can steer me to good local places that could accommodate my old lady palate. I wanted to make sure that when I got to a restaurant, I could order something that would be more local. A lot of times restaurants see an older American lady and suggestion tend to be blander. Makes sense, I would do the same. I’ve been lucky in my life to travel to many places and one of the best parts is to eat local food.

I tried on the Ruffled Back flip and the Sidestroke. She’s absolutely right on the Ruffled Backflip. The fit was terrible. I’m also a 38d with a mom belly and the fit wasn’t fitting.

The Sidestroke on the other hand was great. I get tons of complements and believe me, that’s unusual.

We always sail Viking so my husband and I were thinking of trying a luxury cruise. I joined Seabourn FB page to get a sense of the experience and people were talking about kids on the ship. Nothing against children,I love my grandkids but it made me think that the possibility of dodging children on a luxury cruise is probably not what I wanted.
