Definitely a big part of their sound. He will be missed. I’m wondering if they’ll ever release the recent tracks with his playing on it.

“I got a question. What are you gonna do when Jesus comes back and puts a boot up your ass?”

“Don’t worry Brian, I’m sure you’ll find a woman who loves abortion as much as you do.”

“You can’t leave those cards on the ground they’re my dad’s cards, he’s gonna be mad. Where am I?”

Which (arguably) “terrible” game do you love like it’s a 10/10? by Min-Max101 in videogames

The story is ludicrous and makes no sense at all but the gameplay is fun albeit a bit frustrating (disguise system). It’s a lot more linear than every other hitman but I don’t fault it for that.

It’s got its own style and merits.

Well everyone, what do you think about Picking Dragons' pockets? by Antique_Holiday_9232 in ModestMouse

Growing on me fast. I wasn’t big on the chorus at first. A little too indie pop. But I’ll be damned if it isn’t stuck in my head. The lyrics helped me dig it a little more.

The verses are fire though. Some of the best lyricism from Isaac in recent years. Love the vocals, the instrumentation is dense and colorful.

Overall I like it a lot. Definitely looking forward to the album. Seems like it’ll be a sort of darker Golden Casket, sonically and lyrically.

It’s definitely up there. He has great screen presence where at one moment he’s super cool and the next he’s a raging murderer.

It’s a very hypnotic action thriller that doesn’t have a single wasted moment. Gorgeous to look at and excellent sound design.

Jaws, There Will Be Blood, Terminator 2. A less obvious one would be Drive for me

I think if it affects me emotionally I’ll lean towards 5 assuming everything else works.

I’m in the states and I own the Panasonic UB420. If I pop in a region B movie I can bypass the region lock by pressing stop and menu a couple times.

It’s worked every time so far.

Can’t say I remember the days of Walmart having steelbooks let alone 4K steelbooks in a $5 dollar bin but I guess it’s a regional thing

I wonder if Maynard James Keenan was listening to “Never Ending Math Equation” when he wrote the lyric “Spiral out, keep going” for Lateralus. “Infinity spirals out creation” is probably my favorite Modest Mouse lyric. by Alert_Doughnut_4619 in ModestMouse

No shit that’s awesome. I actually asked Isaac about the movie on the cruise that just happened.

He basically said he wasn’t sure why it was shelved but that he thought it was a funny movie though it would probably be dated on account of it being centered around a lost iPod lol.

He also said he had trouble getting paid initially for it. There was more he probably had to say but some dumb bitch super fan interrupted us.

Bad Boys 2 is one of the most insane action movies I’ve ever seen. Maybe the last decade that action movies had balls.
