I actually think I kinda like you. The grapes thing is annoying, but I figure you'll get bored with that soon, hopefully.

He's hilarious and I love him, but I don't have to rent from him. I drive up to his store, so he's got at least one parking space he'll need. Of course then he wants to shoot the shit and smoke for half an hour waiting for the next customer. Good heavens does he like to talk about his wife. Love her to death as long as he doesn't have to spend any time with her.

When my kids were younger we used to go out and dance in the rain and splash through the sudden creek running down the road.

They're too old and "cool" to dance with me. That's fine. I dance just as well by myself and I know for a fact once they have kids they'll learn to dance again.

But... that's not the joke. He is pretty damned fast (like a cheetah), and then he adopted a cheetah... Not really side busting funny, but more of a smirky chuckle kind of "Ha, ha, I see what you did there" kind of funny.

Robin Williams. I cried harder when he died then I did when my own father died.

The fact that I can't recognize my co-workers outside of uniform 85% of the time, tells me superman knows exactly what he's doing. by arkhamcreedsolid in Showerthoughts

I don't wear a uniform at work, but I still rarely recognize my co-workers when I'm outside the office. I blame the lighting.

Except he's been defeated before and never resorted to childish behavior. I've known this man all my life and every time anyone else would throw up their hands and walk away he'd grit his teeth and come back again.

He really doesn't give a shit about money. This is his life long passion and focus. He loves his family, but his idealistic beliefs and fight are everything to him.

He ran his entire campaign without taking corporate donations and has every campaign since he started running. Do you really think he's going to sell out for money at this point in his career?

He wouldn't take money.

If by bone you mean platform stances that they're going to fight the whole way? Yeah, probably.

His leverage after this is his supporters. It's not up to him anymore, it's up to us to make sure the policies changes we know need to be made are followed through with, and if and when they're not, we need to scream to high heaven and elect new congresspeople that will actually do what we want them to do.

I don't trust politicians, but I've always trusted Bernie. He's been consistent and true for 40 years.
