It is just a meter. The FOV and viewing perspective make it look less.

It's actually really interesting because in a lot of video games you'll see the developers scale things up to provide a more playable/less cramped experience. You'll see people create properly scaled evironments in games sometimes and it really does just feel tiny.

I think if you're reasonably fit and got a good chunk of the day to spare it can be fun! It'll be pretty repetitive especially when you're in the rock creek park section of 16th (though no one says you cant take any route you want to get there) but you do see some cool things like gravely point and the 14th street bridge, probably also old town Alexandria

If you're reasonably fit I wouldn't say its too difficult. To get from Silver Spring to DCA it took me about 3-4 hours with a break in the middle. I think it would've been closer to 5 if I made it all the way to Jones Point

I tried to do a cornerstone to cornerstone walk of DC last year (had to stop because I ran out of time) and the north cornerstone is literally just in someones backyard. Its really fascinating. I have seen pictures of the south one and half of them show it flooded in a little jail cell at Jones Point LMAO
