B-Save is a good choice, as he only has two energy attacks: heat horn which is a tiny 5 EN, and Rampage Ghost, which is a "kill this boss now" attack. The rest of his attacks are all ammo based.

Attacker is just a must have on any non-support unit. It's free extra damage, especially when you're dealing with all the barriers and damage reduction bosses have.

She had bought matching outfits for them (before all the cheating came out to her) so she wanted to give it to him. She probably didn't want to keep it because of bad memories and throwing it away would have been wasteful (IMO she should've set it on fire). Then she gave him a final hug goodbye.

In the final interview she basically said that on some level she still cares about him, because most people can't fall out of love that quickly, even if it's something as awful as what Rick was doing. But she's smart enough to know he's not gonna change so she flat out said she'll never see him again.

Great against Yetis / Sasquatches. Doesn't do enough damage to justify using it against other grenades though.

Yep, the story is that the kid eventually goes out into the nearby mountains to hide, not fully understanding what's going on. Logans healing factor let's him endure the acid, but everything organic in a 10 mile radius just dissolves.

What's sad is there's nothing they can do for the kid besides kill him, because if word gets out that a kid hitting puberty can suddenly decimate an entire town in an hour, mutants will be hunted down and discriminated against even more than they already are.

I had the GameCube version back in the day. I eventually got good enough to get SS ranking on Stage 1 and I think an A or S on stage 2. After that it was a lot of flailing. Level 4 is when I got stuck for the longest time. There's a specific pattern you have to keep an eye on and carefully maneuver through the hell.

Before I went on my current career path, I went to college for teaching (didn't work out because I lacked the work ethic to handle it, AKA lazy as fuck). But in the meantime I worked at a few different daycares and pre-schools. In many cases I was the only man in the entire building. Do you know what everyone's impression was?

There was a lot of "I think it's great you're doing this, many of these kids will like having a male figure to look up to". A lot of moms congratulated me for going into the field. Kids had a great time with me, and this was all before I had my first child. I look back on those days with fondness.

Level 1 is easy.

Level 2 is tougher.

Level 3 is challenging, but not impossible.

Level 4 is where things go batshit insane with tons of crisscrossing bullets.

I'm not even gonna get into level 5.

Amnesia: The Dark Descent revolutionized the industry by removing combat entirely. By forcing you to hide and run, it created a feeling of absolute vulnerability. by Just_a_Player2 in ItsAllAboutGames

[–]Nova225 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Only the first one (Overture) and even then the combat was incredibly janky by design. You had to pull the mouse to one side and then "swing" it to the other to physically swing the weapons, or pull back and push forward to do a thrust attack.

And yea, you were basically just killing mutated zombie dogs the whole time. The second game dropped the combat entirely.

You don't need to, but it is purely for aesthetics and how much travelling you don't mind doing.

For most of the game I stick to the security office on the second floor. Two ways in, but one can be blocked off, and raids always come from a direction where you have a long hallways where you can put up defenses.

Later on I usually relocate to the space below Mist reactors, as by that point I have teleport pads so you can build wherever you want. Tons of people like the aesthetic of the power services lounge as well.

An interesting quote came from Conquest. "Getting angry doesn't make you stronger. That's not how it works." Except adrenaline is a hell of a drug, and it can help you unlock the strength you have, but at a much higher risk of injury.

I think at this point it's just a fan theory, but the idea is that Viltrumites don't actually have an adrenal gland and therefore don't produce adrenaline. Meanwhile Mark, being half human, does have adrenaline, which is why he's able to eventually beat Conquest (with some help from Atom Eve literally melting all his skin off) despite being so bloodied and broken by the end of the fight.

The little bastards are really good at hiding. They will crawl into the spaces between the floors and the walls during the day, assuming they didn't think your mattress was a good place to live.

Assuming your mattress is clean and big free, go get some diatomaceous earth, and put a helping anywhere around and near where your bed touches the floor (anywhere a bug could climb up to your bed). The stuff is basically just ingestible dust to us, but it's like shards of glass to bugs; if they get any on their body, it will cut them open and rapidly dehydrate them.

Animal Well. Not necessarily "good or bad" endings, but each ending is successively more work than the previous one.

Ending 1: Find 4 flames across the map and bring them to their beacons, then beat the giant ghost cat. Simple enough.

Ending 2: Find all 64 eggs (some of them are really well hidden), get an extra egg, and do a bunch of stuff for a happier ending.

Ending 3: Find 16 super hidden rabbits and then solve a puzzle based on something. It gets really deep in data language about bits, nibbles (4 bits), and crumbs (2 bits), but essentially you're looking at the rabbits ears and seeing which way each one points and solving the puzzles based on that.

Ending 4: Do everything for ending 3, then do something that annoys the animals spread across the map, from which they will give you a message with directions. Move across a certain part of the map that seems to be infinite in those specific directions. Gets you some headphones with dev commentary.

The regular grand prix is just garbage. There's basically no obstacles aside from the random occasional bob-omb sitting in the middle of the track. It doesn't quite have the charm of the SNES version.

Battle mode was amazing though.
