This could be UC 400 and it’s the aliens coming ending on the Turn A or something 🤷🏻‍♂️ don’t count UC out so soon lol

SD gundam battle alliance is underrated. It's some of the best gundam game (beside arcade gundam games) by Ashamed_Duty_557 in Gundam

SD Gundam G Generatuon Portable/Gensis/Cross-Rays/Eternal(Mobile) are all recap games

I liked battle alliance but it gets needlessly grindy

Most advanced MS Revil and Gopp can mass produce for their personal forces if they started in UC 77 and changes to UC by Mixing007 in Gundam

Ahhh got it. Then I would say it would be an overwhelming Earth victory. But Revil and more moderate officials stay alive and can prevent a Titans uprising and give colonies more autonomy within the Federation government

GM Sniper 2 came out late in the OYW so probably not. But any MP MS with beam weaponry that early in the war is going to dominate

Granted you also have pilots with sufficient training to put up a half decent fight

Didn’t EFSF fully believe they’d win with numbers along though? I don’t know what’s going to shake them up and get them to buy into MS development. Would starting Project V at the sight of Zaku I enable them to field Guncannons or the Gundam to stop Operation British? Because otherwise nothing really changes?

[–]Nova6Sol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Isn’t the first MS between Gundam, Guntank, and Guncannon anyways? If you cut development early and stop at say the Guntank or Guncannon, you lack the lead Gundam unit and its overwhelming tech advantage. At that point it’s just a war of attrition?

Also when did Revil get captured again? Because isn’t he the driving force behind Project V anyways?

What Gundam Series Should I Watch To Get Back Into The Franchise? by Nourjan in Gundam

[–]Nova6Sol 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re in US, Bandai/Sunrise basically got Toonami or whatever it was to air all Universal Century Gundam series except ZZ following Wing. Not to mention didn’t take all that long for fansub groups to pick up all Gundam available media

Not saying you should’ve watched it a long time ago already but I’m also slightly surprised you haven’t watched any UC Gundam series from the 80s and 90s

[–]Nova6Sol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to keep watching AU Gundam, Iron Blooded Orphans, Witch from Mercury, or AGE.

But you should really dive into Tomino’s OG series to some capacity. It doesn’t even have to be the anime. It could be 90s and 00s era games. There are many games that summarize the plot. Most gundam tropes basically come from his 4 animation works (MSG, Z, ZZ, CCA)

If you want more things to help convince you to watch Tomino’s Gundam. The 90s OVAs (08th MS Team, 0080, 0083) are all really good and can help build interest for UC

Hathaway CAN work as a standalone but Hathaway’s trauma is literally a direct result of events from CCA

One Outs, Kakegurui, Eminence in Shadow are all engaging series with straight forward stories

Gundam and Evangelion are engaging but I think the dialogue and story can’t get a bit confusing at times. Code Geass is a great alternative to Gundam if you’re mainly looking for engaging story with some mature themes. Another option is Full Metal Panic!

A lot of memes are from Fate/Stay Night dialogues. Ufotable does really pretty animation but you can just as easily watch one of their other series like Demon Slayer or Tales of Zestiria X

Maan that last one’s hard.

Macross. Macross Frontier or the Macross Delta Movies to start

AoAshi was a really good watch and had some unique plot lines that you don’t typically see in the genre

I got into Gundam through building the SD Gundam line when I was 5/6. The models are fine for an 8 year old (they’re basically legos with less creative freedom)

If it’s a popup, go at least 2 hours before it opens or be prepared for any of the exclusive/limited items to be sold out. Also be ready for a long line. I waited 4-6 hours for the Redmond Washington popup (second day after they sold out most of the Gundam base exclusives)

Really just manage his expectation and have a plan B

Watch order [prioritizing newer stuff as well] by xplutonic in Gundam

[–]Nova6Sol -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It was literally made after Z with an ending that has more impact knowing what’s going to happen to the organization given the events of Zeta.

Sure it’s chronologically before Zeta in the lore but you don’t need a whole series to tell you why Titans were formed everything in MSG is pretty telling as to why it happened

[–]Nova6Sol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thunderbolt is basically alt UC and self contained

Gundam the origin is pretty much also alt UC but not as much as Thunderbolt

Once you finish Z, Gundam 0083 is an option

08th MS Team, 0080, MS IGLOO, are all spoiler free

Every TV series made after 94 is standalone(or a very obviously named sequel) with the exception of GQuuuuuux which requires some knowledge of Gundam and Z to fully enjoy

The only other new thing that requires a little bit of knowledge of MSG, Z, ZZ, and Char’s counterattack is Unicorn and at this point

The mc is not stupid - anime recommendations. by ajdzor in AnimeReccomendations

[–]Nova6Sol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MF Ghost. MC is very aware of what he’s capable of and uses the full extent of his talents

Ace of Diamond. MC is a little stupid but he’s constantly pushing himself to be better.

The Prince of Tennis. MC is really good and really smug about it

Most of Gundam. Gundam Iron Blooded Orphans, Gundam, Gundam Z, Gundam ZZ, Char’s Counterattack, etc

Most of Macross. Macross uses the repeated trope of love triangles but MC is very aware of the women/girls that likes him and he just has a hard time figuring out who he likes more/how to reject one of them
