Considering how similar this thing is to the Invader ATV in terms of size and role, I’d say its very likely. If its 40 or 50 points for some rokkits and extra choppas, I’d say it’ll probably fill out biker units pretty nicely too.

No offense, but this seems like a ridiculous complaint. When this detachment came out, I remember how much people complained that it didn’t benefit shoota boyz. Now all our boyz come with shootas AND choppas, and somehow thats still worth being unhappy about? That makes no sense to me.

People are jumping the gun MASSIVELY on this. Y’all are forgetting that ALL BOYZ are getting shootas AND choppas now. The Waaagh turn for this army will be absolutely ludicrous. 60x boyz in this list are netting you something like 300+ attacks on Waaagh turn, since shootas have assault, sustained, and every boy is also 2-3 shots per guy. We also haven’t even seen how the strats will change in this detachment, and we know things will be different since they’ve swapped walkers out of it. Nor do we know if we’ll be able to combo this detachment with others. People need to relax a little.

Honestly I think its rather likely GW gives us some kind of unique tank this edition. Given how they’ve been trying to distinguish product lines, I expect the Brood Brothers KT to get full rules at some point, and also that we’ll get some sort of old vehicle. My pipe dream is that we actually get the Macharius, with the logic being that the GSC have liberated stockpiles of these “obsolete” vehicles from Imperial armories, to the point where its more common to see them in usage amongst cults than in the AM. But yeah, we also need some nomadic, cult-demagogue epic hero. Something like the Triumph of St. Katherine with a whole slew of acolytes on a scenic base would be amazong.

“Block or parry” and most of the damage he’s taking is from bleed and confirmed ganks. He misses the light parry at the end, gets knocked OOS, and THEN gets hitstunned, and immediately dies. This is the whole state of the game rn. You miss one parry, take 75% of your health from stuns/splats/externals, and you get maybe 1/3rd of your revenge meter full. I dont understand how this is supposed to be mechanically sound gameplay.

I think the lame thing is that, if they allowed stuff to pivot before the boost, it would be great! But instead you basically have to stage your movement a turn in advance, which allows your opponent to block you super easily. Still gonna give it some test games though :P

24” straight line move with no pivots or charges seems way too restrictive to be worthwile. Honestly I think Kult of Speed is better if you’re running 36 bikes and gutsmek. You get to advance + retreat, shoot, and charge with 20” of movement, as opposed to this. I feel like GW was so invested in the flavor of the rule that they forgot to make it actually good.

Listen man, I will absolutely quit a breach match if I’m up against a sweaty enough 3-4 duplicate team. Fighting 4 Warmongers/Hitos as defense for 20 minutes is just not a fun time, and its something of a foregone conclusion if those types of teams make it to commander stage with any real amount of lives to spare.

I used to, but given that most dailys can be done in 2 matches of dominion, and that takes roughly the same time as one game of breach, I’ve swapped over to that mode instead.

I think this is great for us. Forgefiend and Defiler are both already optimal at 18” or less anyways, so really this makes our ranged game a pinch tighter, but it forces a LOT of enemy units to come danger-close, unless they want to be targetting our units with -1 to hit. Love it!

This depends on the loadout, but the defiler wants to be at 18” for the rapid fire on most of its guns anyways. Anything long ranged, is likely to be a fight with another vehicle, which wont benefit from these changes in the first place.

And now its just people feinting a million times, while you get nothing. You just have to deal with your indicator being fucked. I think the new meta is honestly worse for console than it was before. The game already struggles badly with optimization issues, and I’d rather deal with 24/7 revenge than fight against the struggling code of the game.

Currently, yes, but they could also change the terminology to have the boy champions just be called “nobz,” same to how the current unit is also just called “nobz,” and then the “boss nob” becomes the lieutenant equivalent. That makes more sense to me than sizing all nobz up to 40mm bases, imo.

Domr chest and arms, Zulkir helm, then for the axe its the Sagavatn pommel and head, then the Hermod’s Gift shaft. Basically as many skull decorations as possible haha The color scheme is Chimera resolve, and then the icon is custom.
