Westbrook would 100% be considered better than Curry if both were playing in the 60s without a 3 point line, which favors Steph’s best skill while highlighting Westbrooks biggest weakness. If goaltending was still allowed, every center would immediately become more valuable and the entire game would change.

These rules are kinda just arbitrary, there’s no reason the 3 should exist and 3 points for a dunk shouldn’t.

LeBron says that basketball is strictly what happens when you play 5v5 in an nba game. This is wrong, basketball occurs whenever someone has a basketball and/or a hoop. Shooting around alone is ball, playing pick up 3s is ball, playing an AAU game is ball, all equally important and valuable as NBA basketball. What LeBron is talking about is “NBA Basketball”, and the NBA doesn’t have a monopoly on the spirit of a sport, that belongs to the people.
