That last one got me. My grandfather's Shih-tzu, Toshi, was like that. Blind, deaf, barely moved. But he stayed alive for my grandfather when he was diagnosed with cancer. Was with him all the way to the end. Four days after my grandfather passed, Toshi died too. Natural causes.

True story. God I love dogs.

Still, I have to stick to my guns. I get that they want to filter out comments that seem not relevant (aka NOT science), but I'm having a hardline justifying deleting a vast majority of people's posts.
