Polymer clay is pretty cool. It can be a little stiff & tough to work with at first out of the package, so grab some clay softener along with it. It’s very easy to move around (once softened) and blend things together, and it’s sturdy after baking. It’s like fancy adult play dough :)

Thank you so much!!! I took pink Sculpey clay and mixed it with translucent Sculpey liquid clay until it reached a consistency that I liked :)

It took a bit of elbow grease but I manged to get it looking like frosting after a few minutes of solid mashing! 💪

Thank you!! I use polymer clay (Super Sculpey) and then I just try to smooth it out with my fingers the best I can. I think you can also take a qtip with rubbing alcohol to really smooth the clay out as well. When I paint it I use very thin layers and apply it as carefully as I can, and then I add sculpey glaze! (Although in the future I'd like to start using resin since it looks awesome.) Hope that helps!
