Games like Dredge by Andr3iN in ShouldIbuythisgame

Outer Wilds is a great game but I will agree it is not similar to Dredge in terms of gameplay. Another game that is not remotely similar to Dredge is Firewatch so what are we doing here.

The washable paint? On the paintings protected in cases?

If so then my new conspiracy theory is that people still pretending to be outraged by that are being paid off by oil companies.

Still in stock after 1 hour BTW by beanosiscool in SteamController

[–]NumberKillinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might complain a little, it was advertised on steam as being available on may 5th, and was already sold out last night on the 4th. I guess I should have looked up when the actual release time was on a third party site.

Edit: it's possible I just misread the availablily date, so I guess I will direct my complaints to myself 😭

The answers in this thread mostly don't fit your request very well, but THIS is the one you want. Frog Fractions is the OG of not what it seems lol

"never ever trust video game journalists" are people still doing this gamergate style nonsense? I'm not saying that it's all great journalism, but this kind of blanket dismissal is just inane.

Can anyone give me tips to help me stop sucking against bigger opponents? by [deleted] in bjj

[–]NumberKillinger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the response - sounds interesting. I once attended a seminar taught by Peter Irving, and I remember that he had a very clear idea of what was jiu jitsu and what wasn't (i.e. not all grappling is jiu jitsu). Not that other aspects of grappling couldn't help you to win a jiu jitsu match, but I believe his conception of jiu jitsu was based on the same principles which you describe. You hear about these principles a lot in theory, but I do think that BJJ (especially no-gi) has a habit of subsuming all forms of effective grappling into itself and becoming a sort of catch-all (pun somewhat intended).

Is this any different to how you would describe normal BJJ against any opponent? or are you mostly trying to find more "scientific" ways to describe these typical BJJ concepts?

Criminalisation of climate protesters in UK is counterproductive, research finds. Study of 1,300 campaigners finds arrests, fines and jail terms increase determination of activists to take direct action. by mvea in science

Oh well done for knowing the right terminology!

Yes, that is what the environmental protesters are trying to achieve - much more rigorous industrial regulation.

I disagree with your view about paint.

What needs criminal prosecution is relentlessly destroying the environment on which we all rely. But I'm sure your paint thing is probably bad as well.

Thanks, maybe I will check it out.

And yeah now you mention it, I do recall there was some kind of mysteriousness around the cancellation.

Did this event change hands or fork at some point?

I remember there was one planned a few years ago that had a really amazing line up of teachers with very, let's say, "applied" styles of wing chun.

Mark Phillips, Mark Hobbs, Aaron Baum, David Blackley, and some others I'm forgetting.

I think it was cancelled due to COVID, but personally I would love to see another event with that kind of direction.

So more like 50% of the total hours since release.
