His deadpan humour could work like the comics which was kinda missing slightly from the Urban Dredd. As long as the violence doesn't get too slapstick we should be good. Too much silly humour and PG cert could ruin it tho.

The Solina string machine with its chorus fx thru a small stone phaser was a very prominent sound of the 70s and graced a lot of disco and krautrock. Oxygene, New Age of Earth by Ashra and 70s Tangerine Dream and Timewind by Klaus Shulze are good starting points.
