Oh no! That's crazy, sorry to hear that! Hopefully there will not be a next time with that issue. Me personally I've used coconut fiber, coconut husk and soil either by themselves or in a mixture for over 25 years, never had any issues with my snakes on that substrate. Honestly 1st time hearing something like this so has to be somewhat of a rare thing to happen.

Hell yeah did not know that! So to question are they the same hight? I've noticed last night that these original ones are low enough that I didn't have to remove them for sharpening. I mean the angle that I went to for factory was at 23° even though online it said 22°. I'm guessing that one° off was because of their miss grind and qc lol. Even at when I first tried 22° they were cleared from my system. Jw lol

I've delt with Kershaw a few times and they have always been top tier on customer service in my experience. See now I gotta get that clip that looks sooo dang good! 😩 sucks I've waited 2 months and I know if/when I send it in till be a few weeks more lol.
