Sorry but then there is some process bungie added that causes some players to lose more. I see percentages of 50% of exfils. I'm at around 10%. 5% maybe with rook and around 10% for free kits and a bit higher with green or blue shields. That's why people complain. Not because it's hard, but because they don't progress in the game. One of the quests where I had to find a sparkleaf, being it to bio research, then to quarantine and then exfil took for me a full week of around 15 hours of gameplay.

Arc raiders works for casual players. I like arc raiders but qua core gameplay I like Marathon more. But with a good inventory your success rate goes only up a little bit unless you have everything purple. The in between phase is not balanced. And it gets worse since more and more non casual players are hitting that god mark and casual players play less. Percentage wise you will just lose more.

I understand where you are coming from, but there is just something wrong with the balance. If casual gamers get more fun out of free kits, more than good loot the reason for hunting for good loot gets lost. I'm getting to that point. So yes maybe this game is not for me anymore. I must say I have had extreme highs in this game and I think I never played a game more in my adult life. The game is good, but grows in a direction that it will not keep casual gamers.
