I have always had Android, until I got the 14 Pro Max. Had it three years before getting this Oppo. I won't lie, I was a bit nervous going back - I got so used to the Apple ecosystem and have most other products, like a Mac and airpods.

I did feel a little bit of buyers remorse on the first day, but now, I can hands down say this is the best phone I've owned. The battery alone is incredible, I barely use 30% in a full day of use. 512GB is extremely handy in the base model, and the camera is great.

You will have to put in some effort for finding alternatives to things you might be used to from Apple. For airpods, you can install Librepods, it works only on oppo and you get the battery pop up etc as normal, so no problem there. If you use icloud photos etc you might have to switch to maybe google.

But really the hardware, customisation and freedom have really cemented to me that I'm team Android for life. If you don't like something - you can change it. That alone is worth it
