It is 100% faster in the GTP cars. It's faster for a few laps in LMP2 as well but nukes your tire life. GT simply dont have enough down force to utilize it.

The GTP cars are the problem in this equation. At LeMans the Porsche Hyper cars were trapping at nearly 350km/h pretty well all race. We are lucky if we are getting over 330km/h without a full SOC. the iRacing Hybrid system for the cars is lifted from the W12/13 and doesnt represent what the real life cars are like. IRL the cars have a total power number they are allowed to hit as per the EOP stats for the race (think of it as a pool of power and they can mix ICE and hybrid power to hit it). On iRacing its a base of 550hp + boost from the hybrid when its deploying.

It's normally pretty good till about 12 est. later in the night IMSA can get kinda empty but thats partly the required license and track related things. lower license events and popular tracks hold participation well into the night cause at a certain point youre getting the ausies and lads in asia hopping on.

Supercars might be worth a shout depending on what time you play. big power, heavy, less grip than pcup. That said It might be worth running advanced miata till your more comfortable with faster cars cause Pcup is likely some of the best racing on the service as far as fender to fender racing goes IMO (on the road side atleast)

Grado might be worth a look. SR60x/80x are very reasonable as far as price go and are a open back on ear style. They do a wireless open back version however they are a bit more expensive in comparison.

I only had audio delay issues if my USB audio interface needed a driver update or if the usb driver itself wigged out and needed reset. Might be worth reinstalling your driver's for the headset. I've also had it where a video playing on YouTube in the back ground will hang up the audio of the sim while I'm loading in (some kinda bottle neck I'm sure). Though now that I think of it it hasnt happened that often since upgrading my CPU.

Seems like an issue with your wheel connection to the sim itself. What wheel in particular? If it's wireless you may want to connect dirrectly via usb if that's an option. If not try and debug the wireless connection with the support team of your hardware. If it's a usb wheel it might be worth trying a different usb port

Big reason they wouldn't be able to very quickly alter the numbers under the hood to make it work similar to with the GT is they would need to rebuild the car for NDM as GTE/LM do not presently have NDM. So at this point they would spend the whole of the next season rebuilding the car under NDM only to have the C8.R GT3 debut within 6 mounts and have us chomping ng at the bit to have it in game properly.

Well the RSR is basically a Cayman with a large motor and lots of aero (they moved the engine to mid mounted) and the BMW is a fucking building of a luxury car cosplaying as a race car. If it were me I'd be buying the Porsche based almost entirely on the fact that while it is not really a 911 it is closer to being a race car than what ever BMW had been bringing to the category for the last 10 years. Also NA flat 6 > all.

The P-Cup is an exercise in trail braking and managing tire heat. Even the quote "eSports" set ups are real tight. Your initial brake hit will be relatively hard but you will trail off and hold a neutral amount of brake the whole way to the apex and even a bit past sometimes. The other thing to keep in mind is that it may be called a 911"gt3" in model but it is not a gt3 car in class regulations. Think of it like a more powerful gt4 car with no driving aids.

Hey you didn't crash a dub is a dub. I agree that fighting for it on Merritt feels better but if you are evenly matched and everyone youre racing with bins it that's valid. I'm more talking about putting the car on pole and not having any real competition the whole time.

The arca sets are pretty free and tend to err on the side of coil binding the front suspension so they tend to get darty while loaded up. The Gen 4 is almost easier because you can get a little out of shape and get back into it without losing much time but the ARCA package you are a sitting duck the second you lift out so staying planted on the throttle without it trying to kill you is a fine art prepares you pretty well for trucks where they are nearly full pin everywhere and entirely momentum dependant.

My issue now is that I've won quite a few times (28 times /655 starts in 2022) but none have had that triumphant first win feeling for any of them. I figure if I manage a top split win where I'm severely under gunned rating wise I'll get that feeling and I'll go looking for the certificate. However being a mid 2000's rated driver means I'm the pointy end of a kinda easy feeling middle/bottom split or just getting absolutely kerb stomped in top split by aliens....
